Is this game worth getting?
Ik I’m expecting a lot of yes’s posting this on this sub, but I’m curious how this game holds up against something like single player Ground Branch or Ready or Not. I enjoyed Ready or Not a lot but just based off the steam page, it’s giving me heavy Ground Branch vibes. While I found all the modding options in GB pretty enjoyable, the actual gameplay was fairly bland and got stale after a few hours. Just curious how the gameplay holds up in comparison
Console Commands!
Hello fellow operators, I’ve been loving this game and I’ve been enjoying messing around in the sandbox of this game
Does anyone know any fun console commands? Like dropping weapons, spawning things, mission modifiers, noclip, etc.
I found godmode and that was fun to turn on without telling my buddies 😂
I also know about the emote commands too! Really looking for more developer-type commands
Thanks in advance
Anyone playing on controller?
Love the look of this game but I only have a handheld at the moment on steam OS so wondered if anyone has set it up with steam input and is it doable?
I do have the new steam controller so I can dock it easily if the trackpads would be better
Thanks
I transcribed the briefings and weapon descriptions that appear in the operator section.
I've become hooked on this game, so I've thoroughly researched the briefings and weapons and transcribed them. Is it okay if I attach them here?
Considering getting this game.
I’ve been watching gameplay on this sub for the past half hour and it looks like fun, but I’ve not got a full picture as to what the game fully entails. Is it something that takes a bit more learning to get into? The most tactical game I’ve played for any real time is Insurgency (I’ve got RoN but it ran like ass on my old PC and I’ve yet to try it on my new one, plus it feels like a lot to learn).
Believe it or not, this was Tier 1
I dont think they wanted to fight me
Sniping is so satisfying
Idk how he didn't die on the first shot but I didn't let him suffer
Anybody else get "High Speed, Low Drag" on a default mission?
I got this one (sub-60s mission) easily by cheesing it with>!Sinola Highlands + drone strikes!< and came back around with my buddy to try to get it legit. It was honestly super fun but took so many tries over about 5 hours to get it on default mission settings. We managed to run Connecticut in ~59.60s. The worst part is that it appears to count the 15s extraction timer in your time, so really your run has to be <45 seconds!
We had to strip down so we could run fast and ended it with my buddy popping his head out of a second-story window so I could teamkill him and extract faster (okay maybe not as "legit" as it could be, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make).
Anybody else get this legit on any of the default missions? I highly recommend giving it a try if you're trying to mix it up a bit. Definitely got my blood pumping...and I can confirm it is possible, but not easy!
Ammo Choice
Does this make much difference in game? There's a fair few choices but is there much real change between them? What's the best for CQB Vs long range?
Barrel length
Did some testing on the shooting range tonight. Only did the m4 556 but I imagine it would translate to all other weapons. Started with a 4 inch barrel and the 5-25 scope just for the ability to see the target at 350yds. Bullet drop was 2 mils on the scope stadia. Kept the entire rifle the same but changed to the 24 inch barrel, same shooting position same target, same bullet drop, 2 mils. Tested this with all available 556 bullets as well and there was no detectable difference in point of impact. So in theory bullet velocity and therefore “damage” is not affected by barrel length if anyone was wondering
How do i finish the Kabul Streets mission
For the love of God i cannot finish this mission. Everyone on the map is dead unless im missing someone hiding. I go to the exfil and i cannot leave. is my game bugged? done this solo and with a friend
Keybind and free look and shotgun ammo
- Is there a way to clear/remove a keybind and simply leave an item unbound?
- is there a way to remove the floaty sensation when using freelook?
- the mag manager didn't have anything related to shotgun shells, so how do I stock up on ammo? Is there a shell manager?
What game is better for someone who only plays solo
As the title says what game is better for someone who only plays solo ground branch or operator I really only play games solo?
Computer specs
How good of a PC do you need to have to comfortably run this game? I don't have a PC yet but I think this game is a good indicator for running some games comfortably. (I'm probably still buying it when I have a pc)
