Who else thinks amado is talking about himself here not KK

It's funny to see Momoshiki fight with a kunai and shuriken, when one of the most common criticisms is that Boruto is no longer about ninjas

Fun Fact: Since it's creation 45 years ago only 3 people have perfected the rasengan

It's been roughly 45 years since Minato created the Rasengan, and only three shinobi have successfully evolved and perfected it by adding a nature transformation:

\- Naruto → Wind Release: Rasenshuriken (the first throwable Rasengan)

\- Boruto → Lightning Release: Vanishing Rasengan (the first invisible Rasengan)

\- Konohamaru → >!Wind Release: Rasen-Barrier (the first defense-oriented Rasengan)!<

**Bonus Fact:** all three also developed their own larger Rasengan variants, each surpassing the previous generation in scale.

\- Naruto → Supermassive Rasengan (largest)

\- Boruto → Massive Rasengan

\- Konohamaru → >!Double Giant Rasengan!<

"No tomoe = No spsm" is a nonsense argument based on an anime inconsistency

The tomoe are on his collar and back, the design just changed

The anime didn't even add the tomoe, just like they turned the flames on his hokage cloak to triangles

2026 and people still saying he doesn't have spsm 🤦‍♂️

One thing I don't like about the Naruto fanbase, other fanbases in general but the Naruto fanbase specifically is very annoying about this

It’s honestly exhausting. It seems like the only way a female character is allowed to be considered "well-written" or "badass" by this fandom is if she shows absolutely zero romantic interest in anyone. The second a girl acts her age and has a crush, her entire character is written off as useless or badly written.

Yes, characters like Sakura, Hinata, and Ino started off as typical teenagers who liked boys. But why does that automatically disqualify them from being considered good characters? The fandom boils their entire existence down to "she just cries over Sasuke" or "she only says Naruto kun," completely ignoring their actual character arcs. They grew up, trained incredibly hard, saved countless lives, and fought on the front lines of a literal war.

What makes this specifically annoying in the Naruto and Boruto fandom is the blatant hypocrisy. Think about the male characters:

* Obito: His motivation for doing what he did all stems from losing Rin.

* Naruto: Spent 700 chapters obsessing over bringing Sasuke back (which was arguably a much more intense attachment).

When male characters are driven by love, obsession, or romance, it’s considered "deep" or "tragic." But when a teenage girl acts like a teenager and has a crush, her entire character arc, training, and achievements are completely invalidated by the fandom.

A female character doesn't have to be a hyper-independent lone wolf who hates romance to be a good character. Normal human emotions and romantic interests don't make a character "trash." Romance and good writing aren't mutually exclusive!

Why did some people think Chocho hates Sarada?

Is it because they didn't interact yet?

Why did people think this, we can see her in the hospital with Sarada so she obviously doesn't hate her

It feels like a large portion of the fanbase wants Sasuke(and the rest of the cast) to stay 16 forever. There is this weird resistance to the idea that he grew and changed during his years of redemption. Expecting a man in his 30s to behave with the same edge and isolation he had during a revenge fueled teenage breakdown isn’t just unrealistic it's bad storytelling. Character growth isn’t "fanfiction"; it's a natural progression of his arc.

The most common counter argument is "if it's not in the manga, it's filler/non-canon," but this feels like a lazy way to ignore actual development. The novels were supervised and illustrated by Kishimoto to fill the gaps of the blank period. Disregarding them because he didn't write every single page and infuse his literal DNA into every word is not only crazy but a double standard, especially since many fans will happily cite Databooks or interviews when it supports their favorite power scaling theory.

Ultimately, if you’re asking for development but then you reject it when it's handed to you on a plate of gold in the novels, you don't actually want the character to change you just want to stay mad at a version of Sasuke that hasn't existed for over a decade. Refusing to acknowledge his growth as a father and a husband doesn't make you a "purist"; it just means you're missing the entire point of his redemption arc.

Sasuke isn't 16 anymore he's a grown man and loves his wife and daughter stop acting like he can't change

This post focuses mainly on Sasuke and Sakura but it applies to basically every character after the end of Naruto.

I've been wanting to make this post for a while now but I couldn't let it go any longer because this fandom is genuinely one of the worst I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with

All everyone does in this garbage fanbase is bitch and complain about wanting stories of Naruto after the war but when you tell them to read the novels, they say no because Kishimoto's literal soul isn't inside every single word of a 200 page novel

It's funny how the same fanbase that calls the novels fanfiction harassed the author and Kishimoto with death threats to the point they told her to kill her own new born baby, just because Sasuke and Sakura got together in the novels, what kind of sick individuals do that because of fictional characters.

She still gets threats to this day btw
