So I've been getting this issue whenever I try to launch Sims 2. Everything works fine when I reinstall the game but I get the same error when I add some CC or mods.
I have tried deleting cache files.
Moving the downloads folder somewhere else and then starting the game, which didn't work.
Tried forcing the windowed mode (-w)
