Future of robot manufactures (2027 and beyond)

I wonder what 2027 and 2028 will look like in the robot mower market.

I'm looking around at all the new models that are coming out every month. Take a look at kickstarter, 5 or so models have come out this year already and there are a plethora of models that are scheduled to come out in the following months.

As I look at all these models, I see one or two features that are missing on each new or existing model. But I can only assume that by 2027 or 2028 we will get mowers that are essentially perfect.

I'm looking around the robot vacuum market which is further along in the industry and I'm seeing much less competition and models.

I wonder who will be the few manufacturers that actually make it the next 2 years. Will any of these super innovative new manufacturers still be around?

Navimow X430 vs Dreame A3 Pro

I purchased a Dreame A3 Pro to mow an HOA property.

This property is remote and next to a lake. There is no power and no Internet/Wi-Fi.

The terrain is pretty rough. It's about .36 acres.

I have set up a solar battery system to take care of the charging issue and the Dreame worked with 4G Internet. So the no Internet/WiFi worked.

The issue I'm having is that the way the Dreame turns digs into soft sand at the edges of the property and ends up digging in until it's completely stuck.

Will the Navimow x430 front wheels turn better in the sand and not dig in?

I also have a Navimow i105n and i210 AWD at my personal house so I'm familiar with the Navimow App and software.

Also if anyone knows how it would do with the level of the lake fluctuating throughout the year?

Dreame A3 Pro 2500

I just set up a Dreame A3 pro 2500 to mow a HOA area of my neighborhood that is adjacent to a lake.

The property was very overgrown so I hit the wild flowers and crazy overgrown areas with my string trimmer before running the mower.

Unfortunately I think the front bumper on the Dreame is too low. It will nose plow into a small dip of grass and trigger the bumper trigger. These areas are not much higher then the 10cm max cut height. Because if it does get through it's not cutting much off.

I'm going to try and trim this area shorter and see if it helps, but so far I don't think this will be the solution for me.

The two options I had originally leaned towards was this Dreame A3 Pro and the Lymow One Plus.

About 2 weeks ago I asked a question about two cheaper model Navimows (i105n) one for the front yard and one for the backyard or one nicer model with a mow gate.

I ending up grabbing a used i105n and tried it in the front yard and it did a great job on the front yard the first cut with some caveats.

My front yard is 2500 and my back yard is 1500.

While the i105n was able to do the entire front yard, it took 3 trips. 1 full charge, a second time it had to stop half way due to rain and then it finished the third trip.

I think I would prefer if the mower could complete the entire mow in one trip. I think the less time the mower is out wandering around the front yard the less attention it would attract from passerby's. Plus in Florida we often get afternoon rain storms. Should I look at i110n which would easily get the front done in one mow?

The only other consideration I have is my lawn in St. Augustine grass. It is very flat, however where the grass meets the sidewalk has a bit of a lip and the mower struggled to straddle that area a bit and transition between the sidewalk and the lawn. Should I look at the i206n AWD?

My front and back need to be mowed at different heights, so I don't think the mow gate option would work anymore since the i series mowers are manual height adjust.

I know tree coverage affects the RTK working. But how much tree coverage is the problem?

Would these palm trees and crepe myrtle trees be a problem?

Do I need to go to a much more expensive lidar model or will a cheaper RTK model work. About 3500 square.
