Retro is an innate cursed technique that embodies two intangible Shikigami, which are tied directly to the user’s soul. The two Shikigami, upon creation, are highly susceptible to the user’s interests, meaning they will change shape to fit that interest. One will represent the user’s interest at the time, the other will be the complete opposite. If the interest stays for long enough (at least for two years), the appearances and abilities the Shikigami develop because of it will be retained permanently.

Thus, it is so “Retro” is not the true name of the technique, but rather the name of a version of it. In reality, the true version of the technique lasts till the user develops their first interest, the first thing they become a fan of. Usually it’s a kid’s show or dinosaurs or what have you.

Each version is unique, and so are the personalities of the Shikigami in each.

For Retro, the two Shikigami are based off the titular game rivals Mario and Sonic. Their names are Haikan Kō and Harinezumi.

Haikan Kō: The red silhouette of a short man with a cap. He’s kind and eager, though also cocky.

Harinezumi: The blue silhouette of an elongate hedgehog-like beast. He is laidback and honest, but impatient.

Both are rivals to each other, though similarity in having a sketchy appearance. Literally. It looks like they are composed of scribbles, layered on top of each and occasionally separating to leave gaps. Both also appear 2D.

The user can harness the powers of either Shikigami, though they cannot harness from both at the same time. Harnessing also leads to the user to developing an either red or blue aura, which are the Shikigamis themselves

Powers given by Haikan Kō give the user CE-enhanced super strength, capable of performing high jumps and blows capable of shattering through brick, stone, steel, etc.

Powers given by Harinezumi gives the user CE-enhanced super speed, applied to all aspects of speed (e.g. Reaction speed) and high agility.

However, these powers can only be used for a certain amount of time, till the user has to swap out with other or just forego the powers and thus not swap. If powers are still used passed that duration, the other Shikigami will clash with the one in control and thus making the technique unusable until they stop clashing.

Maximum Technique: Power-Up

Applied to one Shikigami, they are given a large supply of CE in exchange for unlocking their attributed elemental ability. For Haikan Kō, it is pyrokinesis. For Harinezumi, it is electrokinesis. Same as before, their unlocked elemental abilities can be passed onto the user for a time.

Thus, the user can either use pyrokinesis or electrokinesis on their own.

Cursed Technique Reversal: Into the Real World

The user can create tangible vessels made of positive energy for the Shikigami to possess and thus be able to directly interact with their environment. Quickly, these bodies become replaced by regular CE and thus able to be harmed, still the Shikigami possess their abilities, including their elemental abilities.

Another caveat is that both Shikigami are tied to the user’s soul, so they can only move so far. At best, they can be about half a mile away from the user. Thus, all three have to keep in proximity to one another.

When their physical bodies are destroyed, both Shikigami return to their intangible state.

So far, I have only one matchup for this guy and that is with a canon character, Octane from Apex Legends.

But I need more matchups! Here’s all his information below:

Name: Welthir Dragonflame

Gender: Male

Age: 22

Species: Stickfigure

Occupation: Mechanic/inventor

Personality: He’s insane, literally, and he’s also a daredevil, constantly tossing himself into danger with no self preservation in mind. He’s a villain for the fun of the game, and also because he’s insane. Though despite being mad, Welthir is quite booksmart, as he’s inventor at heart and also a bit of a chemist.

Backstory: Well, I haven’t fleshed this portion out as much. All I remember is that he grew up without any powers, and so became an inventor. His inventions I would presume were to benefit himself, although he worked as a mechanic as well, creating inventions for a lot of people- your average joe, well-known stickfigures and even criminals.

But one of his biggest achievements is Dragon’s blood. Idk if it’s actually refined from a dragon’s blood, but this was basically a drug that made you stronger. He would distribute it to a lot of people willing to buy it, just to get an extra step ahead of others. But he also used it on himself, until it grew into an addiction.

And this addiction would cost him everything. As one day, he was trying to finish up creating a machine until he slipped up and it exploded right in his face. Miraculously, he survived with only his left side scarred by burns…and also the side effect of going completely mad.

He felt alive, more alive than he had ever been, and he used the drug more and more until he essentially made a robotic suit that could keep the drug flowing.

And he’s been a menace on society ever since.

Equipment:

Robotic suit- Kinda like iron man’s suit though it looks more geometric and inspired off motorcycles, it keeps funnelling Dragon’s blood into the speedster’s bloodstream but also can combust it to create jets of red flames, produced from jet boosters hidden by panels across the entirety of the suit.

Thrusters can move in an omnidirectional fashion, either for steering or to fire the flames at opponents. The panels that hide the thrusters themselves are also sharp.

The rabbit ear shaped antennae on the helmet are also sharp, but help for picking up noises as well. The helmet is full of different sensors and scanners. 

The colouration of the suit is pitch black, with glowing red lights on the limbs and a red circular light on the helmet’s ‘face’. Though, these lights can be switched off for perfect camoflauge in very dark areas.

The suit also has four hidden tubes of more Dragon’s blood, which can be injected into the channeling system of Dragon’s blood. This causes a volatile reaction that makes a stronger version of the drug. Dragon’s blood already enhances senses, speed and strength, but this version enhances that further.

In this overclocked state, the flames produced by the jet boosters grow stronger and are coloured purple. He also becomes more hyper-vigilant and more erratic, though he does run the risk of having a heart attack.

Abilities: 

-Stickfigure physiology: All stickfigures get stronger, more durable and faster the more they train. Their durability also matches with their strength.

-Superhuman capabilities, such as strength

-Pain immunity: Due to the drug, Welthir cannot feel any pain, whatsoever. That’s why he can just throw himself at people or tank a lot of damage, and still keep on going with a smile on his face.

Fighting style: Just throw yourself at the enemy and do as much damage as possible, be brutal as you can and risk an arm and a leg if it means beating your opponent

Weaknesses: Welthir’s lack of self preservation and pain immunity means damage is not a factor he considers, meaning he runs the risk of life-threatening injury. His overclocked state also makes him more erratic and at risk of a heart attack.

Now feats!

Strength: Should scale to durability

Durability: Without armour, he survived an explosion that destroyed his shed, with only burns. With armour he can survive breaking through walls and head-on collisions.

Speed: Usually hits top speed of motorcycles (typically 200 mph), although he should scale to an early story Ishka (main protagonist of the universe he shares), who can frequently break the sound barrier.

I will not deny that I wasn’t a saint in this convo. I mixed up horribly with another person, I mixed up Perception with a guy from a completely different sub called Presentation. That is entirely my fault, I was being a fool and not taking a moment to actually double check myself that this was the right guy. But I was so confident in my thinking that I was right, I ended up wrong.

I know Perception won’t see this because I have them blocked long ago, because of that mistake. Though I’m sure you will share this with em.

I do not agree with the take by Calamity, was it, about “Well minors see it, so I don’t see the problem of wanting to be sent porn into a space with minors.” Now they didn’t say it was good, but didn’t say it was ban worthy either, as it’s not happening directly to the minors, apparently.

Am I doing the right thing? Idk, I’m trusting my gut and I have no one else to get an opinion on this from, so here ya go.

In the Flowery bossfight, from 00:35 to 09:27, we see this large of pillar made of vines. We can assume that the base of the pillar Is hidden just below the platform and that the top ends below the part of the cliff face we see by 09:28.

We can also assume this is a cylinder.

Sooo, what is the volume of this structure? Please no joke answers, also I apologise if this a little tricky to calculate. We do see leaves in the background, falling around the pillar, starting at 1:44. We can use the width of a leaf at its closest in the foreground and then the leaves at their smallest perspective that appear in the background. This can then be used to determine the diameter of the cylinder, then the hard part is finding the height of the pillar.

If you didn’t know already, Temperance wasn’t always a virtue. They were once a Sin, the former Gluttony before the New Gluttony(‘s) replaced them.

The Feeding Era was when he became his most infamous as Maw Agenda’s own hunger fed into gluttony and thus empowered the former Sin more. But in the Smog War he was a force you still wouldn’t want to come across, that’s why he made such a good weapon.

Temperance doesn’t like talking about the Smog War much.

A very toxic, short-tempered clone of Popularity, made by Mad Scientist- the Evil Intelligence!

He was made by combining what remained of Popularity, Hate and a bit of Time and was grown in a test tube. Test tube baby.

He probably goes well with nightcore MVs.

He’s also venomous! Or well toxic. His venom can weaken a scritter till they have no energy to even move.

‘Mad scientist’ comes from an alternate future timeline where the entirety of the Scritterverse was brought into chaos by…something. An original idea was something to do with Speed managing to actually win flawlessly this time against Strength.

Either way, much of the scritters die, gods go kapoot! And the constant revival scritters go through ends up going away, meaning all the scritters that died in that future stay dead. Thus only Intelligence remained as one of the few still alive, and he basically went insane or just went straight up evil.

Anyways this whole “Evil” timeline I thought up some stuff for, including whole robot versions of the main OGs (i.e. Strength, Speed, Defence) and also an “Evil” version of Popularity, which is an experiment ES decided to try to revive Popularity. They did so by scraping up what little remained of Popularity and combined with pieces of Hate (I think that’s her name) to create “Infamy”, he’s like the Shadow to Sonic. Infamy to Popularity.

Oh yeah and Time is being held captive somewhere idk. That’s why ES managed to send back the “Scrittinator-3.5 thousand” to the present so to speak. But he’ll soon finish his project of actually making portals to the present, so yeah! How fun.
