Beatrice and Hollyhock

This is a coloured pencil sketch of two Bojack Horseman characters, both relations of the horse himself. On the left is his unloving mother, Beatrice, while on the right is his half-sister, Hollyhock.

The sketch is taken from the episode Thoughts and Prayers (season 4, episode 5), where Beatrice is showing Hollyhock an old photo album, in which she confusedly claims that a photo of Bojack is really one of her long deceased brother, Crackerjack. Bojack, annoyed by this, storms off.

Mrs Gogol and Baron Saturday

This is my pic of Mrs Gogol and Baron Saturday. It was my interpretation of what Pratchett's married couple, Mrs Gogol and Baron Saturday would have looked like. Mrs Gogol is a Voodoo witch and her husband Baron Saturday is a Zombie.

I never found any official drawings of them when I first drew it, so had to make up what I thought they might look like from descriptions given in TP's novels.

Cornelius

This pencil sketch is of Cornelius from the original Planet of the Apes film, Zira's fiance and fellow scientist, albeit in the archaeological field. He's hesitantly supportive of Zira's views about ape society and humans, but would rather that Zira would settle down and not be so combative towards authority. As that's not her wont, he still helps out Zira in her quest to free Taylor from the injustices of ape society and challenge the prevailing prejudices of that civilisation.

Happy Birthday, Paul McCartney!

Happy 84th Birthday, Paul!

This is a picture I've done of Paul McCartney, who was one The Beatles, my favourite band.

He started off with John Lennon and George Harrison in a skiffle band called The Quarrymen. The three of them then went on to form The Beatles. He played the bass guitar and piano, and was the lead singer and songwriter for the group, along with John Lennon. After The Beatles split up, he went on to form the band Wings, as well as having a solo career.

He was born in Liverpool on this day in 1942.

Granny and Eskerina

This is my pic of Granny Weatherwax and Eskerina walking proudly along just after Eskerina was finally crowned as the first ever female wizard at the Unseen University by Archchancellor Cutangle.

This scene was my aftermath to Pratchett's Equal Rights novel.

Rhino the Gyno

This is a coloured pencil sketch of Princess Carolyn visiting her gynaecologist in her pursuit of finally getting pregnant after so many miscarriages. This scene comes from season four, episode nine, titled Ruthie. A male rhinoceros doesn't seem a comfortable choice for such a delicate role, but that's obviously irony.

Full Steam Ahead

This pencil sketch features the scene where Esteemed Character Actress Margo Martindale is on Bojack Horseman's stolen boat, along with a giant paper mache Todd head running (sailing?) from the law. The scene comes from the episode That Went Well, which was the finale of season three.

Peanut Pickle

This was a request from the man I love, my hubby. It's a coloured pencil drawing that shows Mr Peanutbutter and his girlfriend, Pickles Aplenty, going to some Halloween party dressed up in the strangest Halloween costumes. They're in tweed suits with food, plates and cutlery stuck on them! The costumes are inspired by some social media app in the Bojack universe called Tweed Feed, which combines social media and food all in one.

Here is one of my pics based Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I hope to add some more in future.

My first pic is of the two best friends Wizzard Rincewind and The Librarian (Horace Worblehat) having a beer together in the Broken Drum before it was burnt down and mended again.

Note The Librarian is still in human form, as it's set long before his unfortunate magical accident with Rincewind and the Octavo's eighth spell, which finally changed him into an orangutan!

I also named it Pizzardists as a pun for piss-artists. 🍻
