What's a band (or bands) that you still regularly listen to since throughout the years?

For me, it's The Cure. I discovered them in 2008-2009ish and have been a massive fan ever since. Their music and songs just absolutely reflect me in every way whenever I listen to them. I love their broad range of having songs that go from upbeat & happy, to sad & melancholic. Happy and in love, to longing in heartache. I feel like I can call The Cure my all time favorite band.

Hey Guys. What's a song that you have a deep connection with that's associated with someone you care about?

For me it's this song lol. It reminds me of my ENFP mother. For as youngest as I can remember, my mother had a CD of this band and she would play this song a lot loud on her speakers and clean the house, sing and dance to this song. The entire house smelt like cleaning chemicals. I thought it was funny when she would dance with the cats and then kiss them and laugh lol.

I listen to a lot of Indie Alternative music, Rock Music, New Wave sounding music, Electronic Rock, Indie Pop, Post Punk music. This general genre area of music, I love it. I listen to a LOT of music lol. I also love things that are melancholic and nostalgic. Whether its music, movies, art, sceneries; I'm like a moth drawn to it like light. So when I hear melancholic music, I just get stuck into listening to it and admiring the vibe and sound of the song and also the lyrics. The imagery and stories I think of when listening to it also adds to the experience, it feels nostalgic and or that i'm somewhere else, disconnected from everyone.

I've been listeing to this song a lot lately by Mareux and I think it's pretty cool, "Roses". I like the music, vibe, and lyrics.

I like Mareux, Provoker, TRAITRS, Vestron Vultures. I dont really listen to them as much as I used to (except for Provoker, I still listen to them commonly), but when I do, I listen to them for a period of time. And then i'll go back to my usual Indie Alternative music genre space and lesser Melancholic music but still has nostalgic vibes like "En La Noche", "Port Wine", and "Head" by French Police (which i'm listening to now lol. Still sounds melancholic but not too much.

So my question is, what are your favorite Romantic Darkwave and Goth Rock bands and songs? I want to add to my library in this area.
