How do cis guys voice train so easily just to troll people while it's so hard for trans people?

I rely on some youtube tutorials for voice training and there are always a few comments along the lines of "im not trans but this works and im gonna use this voice to troll others!!". Heck, even some of the people making voice training resources are cis guys who did it just for fun.

Meanwhile for us who literally needs the voice to survive train for months just to get a barely passing voice. Is voice training a talent/genetics thing? How do you make it more effortless?

Is it better to give a heads up that you are trans or just present as yourself straight away?

I've been out to my manager and team for several months now and they're mostly supportive. However, I've continued to dress androgynously while waiting for HRT and hair to catch up so the rest of the department doesn't really know.

My manager has offered to help tell other team leads about my transition but I'm not sure whether to do that. I guess the advantage of giving others a heads up first would be that it doesn't confuse people when I start changing my presentation, but telling people could also create some sort of preconceived opinions.

For people who have done both telling others before changing your presentation and just showing up as a different gender for the first time, which one did people react better to? How was the reaction like in each case?
