19M Newbie in investing. Need Advice
Hey everyone,
I’m a 19-year-old beginner investor and I recently started learning more about investing and ETFs. My goal is very long-term investing (20–30+ years), and I’m mainly focused on maximum growth/returns while still keeping some diversification and stability.
I have a pretty high tolerance for risk and I know there will be major crashes along the way, but I’m okay with volatility as long as the long-term returns are strong.
Right now, this is the portfolio I’m considering for my TFSA:
- 50% XEQT
- 25% VFV
- 10% QQC
- 10% TEC
- 5% XIT
- Other investments/cash (still undecided)
What advice would you give regarding this portfolio? Do you think this is a strong long-term setup for someone my age aiming for maximum growth, or would you make any changes to improve it? Any advice or feedback would be really appreciated since I’m still new to investing.
