Title: WiiM Ultra won’t connect to my phone after moving apartments

Has anyone dealt with this before? I recently moved apartments and now I cannot get my WiiM Ultra to connect to my phone through the WiiM Home app.

The WiiM itself connects to the WiFi, although it says the signal is bad, and my phone is connected to the same network. For some reason though, they just won’t seem to find each other. I’ve even tried connecting the WiiM through Ethernet and still had no luck.

I’m starting to wonder if my apartment has some sort of security setting on the WiFi that prevents devices from communicating with each other, but I honestly have no idea if that’s even a thing lol. (Dealing with the wifi people has been a hassle. I’d like advice tbh.)

It worked fine before I moved, so I’m pretty convinced it has something to do with the network here. Has anyone run into this with apartment WiFi before? And if so, is there anything I can do on my end, or do I need to contact whoever manages the building’s internet?

B&O earbuds for work calls + music - worth the splurge?

Hi! I just started a new job that involves being on calls pretty frequently, and I’m realizing I need to invest in a good pair of earbuds. I really don’t like wearing headsets, and unfortunately I’m also one of those people whose ears seem to reject 90% of earbuds lol.

I recently lost my AirPods, so I figured this might be a good excuse to replace them with something nicer. I’m planning on going into a Bang & Olufsen store tomorrow to actually try some on and see how they fit, but I wanted to hear from people who have owned B&O earbuds before.

I’m 22, so obviously dropping this much on earbuds is a pretty significant purchase for me, but it’s something I can afford if they’re genuinely worth it. Sound quality is extremely important to me, and because I’d be using them for work, mic/call quality is equally important. I don’t fuck around when it comes to stereos and speakers, so if I’m spending a lot on earbuds, I want them to be in line with that.

For anyone who owns or has tried B&O earbuds: what do you love about them? What do you dislike? How’s the mic quality on calls, especially in an office environment? And how comfortable are they for a few hours at a time?

Also curious if there’s a particular model you’d recommend I try tomorrow, or anything I should specifically test/pay attention to while I’m at the store.

Thanks!!

Moving to Downtown Phoenix after ASU, any recommendations?

Hi everyone!

I just graduated from ASU and will be moving from Tempe to downtown Phoenix for work. I've narrowed my apartment search down to Skye on 6th and Maeve at Central Station, but before I sign a lease, I was hoping to hear from people who currently live there or have lived there recently.

As a 22 year old living alone, safety is pretty high up on my list of priorities. I'd love to know how safe you feel coming home at night, walking to your car, or just living in the area in general.

I'd also love to hear your thoughts on management, maintenance, noise, and your overall experience living there.

If you don't recommend either of those, are there any other apartments in downtown Phoenix that you'd suggest in a similar price range? I'm definitely open to other options if they're in a safe area and you've had a good experience there.

I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks in advance!
