I have restarted working in the NHS and I want to compensate for not saving into my pension when I was younger. I asked my employer they said they offer the additional pension contributions and NHS MPAVC pension schemes.

I just wanted to know about other people’s experiences working in the public sector.

Also, does anyone know if this particular AVC is salary exchange? It says it on the Standard Life website, but I keep reading conflicting information elsewhere.

I know a lot of people were speculating ins and outs, especially with no European football.

Summary on the managers:
* Nuno’s exit seems self-inflicted
* Ange was a mistake
* Dyche started off well, but lost the players. I like the “poor performances that make your eyes bleed” quote.
* Vitor came in, took the pressure off the players. He put his arms around them and told them to play with freedom

Summary on the contracts and transfer market plans:
* Club have accepted Anderson’s exit and will be looking at around £115m that Chelsea paid for Caicedo
* Not under pressure to sell, expect interest in MGW, Murillo and Neco
* Not expected to sign players, maybe cover here and there and up to 4 players
* Expect some of the fringe players to come on next season including McAtee, who apparently trains really well
* Kalimuendo’s loan will be converted to a permanent switch for £23m, appears it was built into the agreement
* New contracts for Vitor, Sanghare and Nico

There is also bits on Marinakis and his ambitions, Edu’s demise, preseason plans, training ground development, etc.

Hey everyone,

He’s no longer our manager, so I’m curious… Why do some fans still bring his name up and feel he would’ve done a better job this season, or even want him to do well at West Ham?

Genuinely interested to hear the current sentiment. Personally, I’ve moved on and felt the decision to part ways was the right one. At this stage, I’m just focused on Forest staying in the league and hopefully progressing in the Europa League.

What do others think?
