Industry pharmacists: CV & LOI Review

I know this is an unlikely ask but would any pharmacists working in industry be open to reviewing my CV and LOI for industry fellowships?

I have great mentors and folks who I’ve had review them but I really want a completely unfiltered and unbiased opinion if anyone is willing. Thank you.

Lunch & APPE Preceptors

Dumb question but is there a rule that our APPE preceptors are required to take a 30 minute break throughout the day? If so, is it reasonable to ask for 2/5 days a week for my lunch break to be at a specific time to attend to a personal obligation? This obligation would basically secure my post grad plans so I would love to be able to for example take my lunch at 10am-10:30am on Mondays and 1pm-1:30pm on Tuesdays but I don’t know if that’s a reasonable ask help please!

Pharmacy profession today: is it failing or thriving?

Interested to hear folks views on the pharmacy profession and where we are headed in the future. Do you think our profession is on the right path or is it slowly crumbling?

What needs to be done in either case? What’s missing?

P4 year & part time work

Is it realistic to work a remote job (15-20 hrs/week) during APPEs if it only requires one or two 30-minute meetings per week and the rest of the work is flexible?

I have no other major obligations, do not plan to apply for residency or fellowship, and want to work retail long term. I badly need the money.

Has anyone successfully managed something similar?

Struggling financially - Resources?

I would love to know if there are any local organizations that assist folks going through a hard time financially in raleigh? Even places for assistance with job finding? Really anything, I am new to this country and I really want to rebuild my life while earning my graduate degree. Any suggestions, literally anything, would be amazing.

Car repossessed; proof of income?

Hi,

Car got repossessed. They said to reinstate they need proof of paystubs, however they do not accept gig work.

Only option is to pay 16k remaining of the loan.

When I took out the loan they didn’t even ask for paystubs so I just thought I would be okay.

I paid last month and spoke with an agent letting them know I’m going to be slightly delayed. They said it’s okay they’ll document it that I’ll pay my balance by x date.

Few days later car is repossessed and they won’t accept my form of income.

Anything I can do?

Forgot to add, I’m a single mother and I’ve applied endlessly to jobs since losing my job in 2022. My main source of income is support from my kids who are just now transitioning to full time employment.
