Why are chineese Running brands doing this

I was looking for some Chinese shoes, and these were the shoes I considered buying:
Xtep 2000km Pro, Anta Zone 2-85 or 90, Li-Ning Red Hare, Peak Taichi Running, Erke Juangyuan (pretty sure I spelt it wrong), Qiaodan leli.

All of these shoes are either unavailable in Nepal or are up-priced to the moon

Qiaodan has Leli as coming soon; it will cost around 16k or more

Xtep didn't even reply when I asked about the 2000km Pro, and I found out from elsewhere that they are skipping the 2000km in Nepal and focusing on the Anta PG7's competitor and the 360 Lite (they are putting up the 360x from 11k-14500, so the 2000km would sit right at 9-12k and with that 30% off it would've been the perfect price),

Then Anta is asking 22k for the Zone 2 85; 90 is not available. Even if they were as good as the evosl and stuff, it's a 16k max shoe, and they are asking for fokkin 22k. Are they distributed by Jyoti too??

Li-Ning staff have never seen or heard about the Red Hare Pro; it would fall a bit outside mt budget anyway

Peak Taichi Running was available, just a size lower, at 14500 (I'm fully ready to pay ts)

Erke asked which product I was looking for and ghosted me after I told Jingchen

Now I'll just swallow the pill and get either the Anta PG7 or the Xtep version of it; it will cost less and will fulfill my needs for a year (If I decide not to improve and just go as I'm going). It'll probably be the Xtep because of the 30% discount and also because of Anta's atrocious pricing of the Zone 2

If the Xtep dealer confirms that the 2000km will arrive a couple of weeks before the KTM marathon and will be priced a couple of thousand lower, I might even wait for it.

If you guys know any other way of acquiring these shoes, lmk; we may be able to split the shipping

shoes

I've been running for some time and did a few half marathons (injury-ridden af and turns out my shitty ahh flatsole shoe might be to blame)

Now I'm looking at some shoes, and the western brands are expensive af (I def can't afford them). How good are the Chinese options (Xtep, Anta, Erke, Peak, etc), how good are they for running, and how much do they actually cost???

They are reviewed pretty well and said to be value for money, but how much do they actually cost in Nepal?

Here's my shortlist btw: Xtep 2000km pro, Xtep 360x, Anta Zone 2, Xtep 360 (base)

I'm keeping Xtep in higher priority because they seem to have a 30% off offer for KTM marathon runners, and I'm signed up for a half marathon already

My honest TVS iQube top variant

Aja I tested the iQube top variant and didnt really like it

I’ve been looking to get an ev scoot if the budgets align and there was this iqube stall so I tested the top variable

Things I liked:

Petrol prices ko state yo bhako bela its cheaper to own

Maintenance also low

Range is good enough for daily commuting (my daily commute is 14k total)

The throttle kinda feels like an ice scoot

Charging time is low

The quality of switch is lot better than ntorq
(Everything I liked about this Scotty could come out of specsheets)

Things I didnt really like:

Weight (idk if the lower variants are lighter but the top variant is just too heavyy): I rode it in pimbahal ko galli with heavy foot traffic where scoots should thrive compared to regular bikes but the the thing is sooo clumsy to ride and turn

Side stand: i’ve felt the side-stand being too stiff in lots of Scotties but ever much so as in this Scooty

Screen and controls: I really don’t need an iPad to ride and and a ev doesn’t need a separate start button a kill switch does it, and I was plucking the ipad joystick thinking I was pluckin indicators and I didnt check the screen because well foot traffic was too high and I dont know where the indicator indicator light are in the screen(controls can be learnt for long term users)

The TVS guy sitting behind to me as pillion kinda ruined it for me too: The first time I braked from the front I noticed the bite was nicer than in the ones I’m used to and I reacted accordingly every time I braked but the guy wasnt grabbing on to anything so was almost flying off the scooty every time I braked

Boot space is tiny compared to Jupiter and wont fit a good helmet

Final verdict: most 110 and 125cc beats this scooty for normal city use, if your commute route includes sizable galli riding then avoid atleast the top variant of this scoot, the smaller variants are lighter and have more boot space so if u can sacrifice range (most people can) u can try out those variants. Athers should be lighter too

For the manufacturer: the cost is too high, we can make due with a simple LCD panel, we dont need anything in these scoots that is too gimmicky and overpriced u should cut some corners to get it to sub 3lakhs

The simple mistake that exposed me to a scam in eakantakuna

Aja mero bhai ko bike ko trial thio in eakantakuna ani we naturally went a bit early to practice in the pieces of shit bikes they might have laying around (not calling super splendor shit but these bikes prolly get run 24/7 ani there are wear and tear ani when everything is cable operated, operated by novices they get more falls and more wear and tear, maile trial dine bela practice center ko bike ma I prolly burnt the clutch or some)

Turns out we were already late ani they were only allowing 2 rounds of practice each which is too little so I rang up an high up official there we are related to (not close but we know him) ani he had been shifted to diff office and he told us to talk with this other guy who would manage things for us and there we made the mistake

Our contact wasnt there in suzuki driving center then and we started talkin with someone complete diff telling them we were sent there by the initial contact our relative told us to contact and we overtook lot of people in the practice line tara he didnt get extra rounds so obv the chiya kharcha got cancelled by us and were waiting for trials to start in the canteen (we told the guards we were there to meet our secondary contact and they stopped from telling up to leave) ani the guy we met came up and told us babu le kina malai na bheteko ni aba trial dini bela chai bheta

Trial ko line ma mero bhai gayo ani ma gate bahira gaye ani aru guards le the main gate bahira nai puraye ani ma gaye tyo lekhit dini thau ko canteen where was some shade, mero bhai proper line ma basirahyo ani aafno paalo kuruo ani the guy we met was designating the bikes tara arko guy is collecting tyo sheets so he has zero input in giving the good bike to my bhai tara he was designating the bike ani my brother got a no-6 ramro bike ani trial diyo ani scored 100/100, he was nervous but he didnt touch a line, did all indicators correctly, didnt stall once, followed the stop lights perfectly, most importantly for the story, the officials were infact paying attention to him ani ukalo ma he remembers perfectly the guy watched him if he stopped before the line ani he did the downhill stop and passed perfectly ani collected his passing papers and then the dirty part really begins

Ani he tells the guy that he passed ani the guy told him to deposit the money for the bike crash he did when practicing that morning ani my bhai did no crash (+ usually driving center ma student le gareko crash ma driving center nai responsible huncha) ani he was like huh k, ani he was like tyo paisa teta counter ma ready gardai gara ma aahnchu and the foker came ani he explained to my brother ki he had bought the officials to turn blind eye on my brother’s mistakes ani it would cost 5k ani 5k is a lot of money and my brother didnt have it on him ani thats what my brother told the scammer but the scammer was relent less and told him to call me and gave me instructions to get to the counter then he explained the scheme to me ani I was like if mero bhai pass bhaye maile kina ghus khuyauna parne ani he was like ali ali kharcha ta dinai parcha teta ko manche lai coke soke bhaye ni khandinu parcha ani 2-3k wa koke soke money to him ani he called one of his partners in scam who explained me the scam in phone ani I intern called my initial contact (my relative) ani they heard the person’s name ani told me to call him from his phone ani when I dialed the numbers correctly they got scared and told us to sort this thing on outside after which we fokkin left

Hamro relative sanga ni testo kura phone ma garna mildaina raicha so he was quite upset we called him but those fokers were keeping us in and we needed to get out

Well the scammer’s name I forgot but it is a two sayalable name starting from A ani his partner had a longer name from S

I’ll edit in the names as soon as I remember them

They werent govt officials in govt uniforms but suzuki driving center employees with those light blue polo and suzuki driving center written in them

Rajabadis love King Mahendra and he prolly pulls the most supporters to the royals than any other person, but his most important achievement in nepal, The Land Reform is always limited to these three words.

Manche la Mahendra le factory banayo bhancha, mahendra ko fictional words use garera gun gan gauncha but no one fokkin talks about Mahendra ko land reforms and his abolition of jameendari system.

This was the most important thing anyone did in Nepal since removal of Ranas and it enabled most of nepali people who own lands to own land and grow their own food and stuff and sell them and start businesses etc. Without this reform, Nepal ko situation ni some regions of india jastai huna sakthio where rich landlords and lords themselves own hundreds or sometimes even thousand of acres of acres of land while rest are landless or have very little land.

Yes this reform didnt fully succeed in its objectives and the failures are seen to this day but removing feudalism like structure for land distribution of now is rarely done as successfully anywhere else.

And I have a hypothesis why the best act of the late king is least talked about; Most of the royalists now are the ones who held better social, economic, political positions in the days of old or those who think they did which is the nobility, the feudal elites and the people socially closer to the ruling system of old. Those people def hate on these reforms, merai hajurama ko bau who was a priest to some branches of the royals lost some land and she said that he cursed Mahendra till his death. And he wasnt even a big land owner unlike mero ghar tira ko kajis who reportedly owned whole hills and their sons used to inherit whole hills, and if they are the loudest supporters of mahendra then they wouldnt really talk about what they actually hate him for, would they??
