I built a tool to centralize my digital mess. Looking for feedback!

Hey everyone,

I’ve always struggled with "digital friction"—that annoying 10 seconds spent searching for a specific file, a buried bookmark, or a frequently used login that isn't quite right for a traditional password manager.

To fix this, I built a personal dashboard that acts as a "Central Command" for my desktop.

Key Features:

The Link Hub: A clean UI to store all my regularly used websites and local files. No more digging through browser folders.

Quick Words (One-Click Clipboard): This is my favorite part. You can add frequent logins or snippets of text. It creates a button that, when pressed, immediately copies that text to your Windows clipboard.

Integrated Scratchpad: A built-in notepad and to-do list so I can jot things down without opening a separate app.

I wanted something that felt faster than a browser and more "utility-focused" than a standard start menu. It’s been a game-changer for my daily workflow, especially for those internal portals or repeated tasks where you’re constantly copy-pasting the same info.

A note on security it’s local-only, but you can add usernames and logins that you use regularly.

I’m at the stage where I’d love to get some feedback from the community.

Does this solve a friction point for you?

What other "widgets" would make a dashboard like this a daily driver for you?

I rebuilt my computer/tablet home screen into a clean dashboard and it’s genuinely improved my workflow

I’ve been experimenting with simplifying my digital setup because I realised I was wasting loads of time opening the same websites, apps and files every day.

So I built a really simple dashboard for my computer/tablet that has tiles for everything I use daily — email, work apps, websites, documents, tools, etc.

It’s nothing fancy, but having one clean screen where everything is one tap away has made my workflow feel way smoother and less chaotic.

I’m curious if anyone else here uses something similar or has built their own version.

What does your digital “home base” look like?

I’m always looking for ideas to improve mine.
