I recently purchased the OnePlus Buds 4 for ₹6,500. Unfortunately, within just three days, I lost one of the earbuds while getting off the metro.
I visited the nearest OnePlus/Oppo service center, and they informed me that a replacement earbud is available for ₹2,900.
Honestly, the pricing feels unfair. The actual cost of the earbud is around ₹2,100, but an additional ₹680 is being charged as repair or maintenance fees. Since this is simply a replacement for a lost earbud and not a repair, I don’t understand what these extra charges are for.
As a customer, it’s frustrating to see such a high price for replacing just one earbud. Why is a single replacement being sold at such an expensive price?

Hey guys, today while I was getting off the metro, my right-side earbud accidentally fell onto the tracks.
The metro staff informed me that I can collect it tomorrow morning, as it is currently peak hour and train operations cannot be delayed.
The earbud is very small, but it’s quite expensive. What are the chances that I will actually get it back tomorrow?
The metro guys also said we have informed the station master about it
