Bad luck with haircuts...

I've been here since June. I get a haircut about once a month because I tend to get a short mid fade, like an ivy league, and just long enough on top to spike the front. It then grows out over a month and I start doing a side part.

So when I come back it's in a side part. I show a picture of the ivy league haircut with the spiked front.

They don't wet it and comb it forward. They get the fade right but the top they just cut like a shorter side part which doesn't work because it just sticks up and the sides are uneven.

One guy got it right so far. I get the feeling he actually knew what he was doing as he even had better suggestions for my beard length.

But these other guys just seem to give you a shorter version of what you come in with even if you've shown them something completely different.

So now I sit here with a patch missing on one side of the top.

And the beard. Goodness. Didn't fade it up, had to be told to bring the line up higher on my neck three times, and he cut me with the clippers.

Anyway, end rant. Just don't remember having to step for step explain a simple crew cut variation and beard trim.

I've only had one good haircut out of four.

▲ 244 r/Suzuki+2 crossposts

I pulled the trigger on the new Suzuki V-Strom 160.

I recently made a post asking for advice on which bike I should get here in the Philippines. I learned a lot from that post and the community regarding the expressway rule for engine size and whether I actually needed the type of bike I was considering.

Finally, with a lot of research and comparing, I decided on the V-Strom 160. I believe it checks multiple boxes I had like being small and nimble enough for Barangay and city travel, fuel efficiency, comfortable seating ergonomics for me and a comfortable seat for my wife on the back for longer rides. Also hoping the light off-road capability helps in those events around the province with unpaved roads.

My wife and I are super excited to start traveling on this beauty.

Dual Sport Suggestions for province and expressway travel

Just found this subreddit. I recently moved here and am living in a province but I still like to visit the city that's about 45 minutes away.

Looking for suggestions for a dual sport bike. I recently saw the PG-1 and really liked it but it's top speed wouldn't do too well on the expressway.

I'm used to driving a Kawisaki W800 back in the US. New to driving here so I'm not sure how much power I realistically need for casual riding.
