New-to-me 2020 Tiger 900 GT Pro

I got this bad boy on Friday after trading in my faithful and reliable 2015 Suzuki V-Strom650. It was listed at $7,000 due to having "high mileage." I bought the Strom on Easter weekend 2023 with 9500 on the odometer. In the three years and some change, I put on almost 41,000 miles. This one has almost 45,000 logged from the original owner. I only paid $5590 after trade. I think I got it for a straight up steal. All of the major service was done before it was released to the showroom floor.

This bike is unreal. Once the taller aftermarket windscreen comes in, I think it'll be the perfect specimen. I've been hitting the mountain roads pretty hard and it doesn't even flinch or jiggle on the roadway imperfections. I couldn't do that on the Strom.

Here's to many, many more miles!

New-to-me bike with a morning out

Yesterday, I made the decision to trade-in my 2015 Suzuki V-Strom650. The bike I traded for and paid cash difference is an upgrade in every conceivable way. The Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro is a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet bike! It'll be absolutely perfect once I install a much taller windscreen.

Anyway, enjoy the pics from today!

Hear ye! Hear ye! A ride has been planned!

Howdy folks! I hope your week is going fantastic. Here are the deets!

When: This Saturday (7/11/2026)
Meet-up location: Triumph Columbia River
KSU: 1030 - 1100
Destination: Outpost on the River

The destination route hasn't been totally fleshed out. However, it will be situated before Saturday. Squid behavior will not be tolerated. Unsafe bullshit won't be tolerated. No road raging even in the rare instance it might be justifiable. Remain calm! We ride staggered with 2 - 4 seconds of following distance. I have a Sena Spyder RT1 communication device.

The pace will be spirited to tame. The most tame part will be the final twisty leg along the way since I have not been on that stretch of road. Beginners are welcome. Don't feel pressured to keep up to the point you're endangering yourself and others. All that matters is you know the destination, and that you get there safely.

There might be other bonus destinations that day. It'll depend on how much time we have and how willing most are. Ecola State Park is a potential bonus spot. You are NOT obligated to stick around for the entire thing. If you're gonna split somewhere along the way, let somebody know so we don't think something awful happened.

u/brapstoomuch - I promise I'll make it out to one of your BDR things one of these weekends before it becomes cold, miserable, wet, and muddy. :)
