if you don't laugh at this, you're not alive.

Here is a pic of my new Thermostat installation.

This is located in an old Den that has yet to be insulated and the stat is on an outside wall (it gets cooler on that wall in the winter and will throw off the stats reading).

Looking online, I couldn't find any backing plate that would raise it off the wall about an inch. Or at least anything I liked.

So I decided I was going to model one and print it at my local library. Well, I got frustrated with that and gave up.

Then one day I was out in the workshop and I saw some of these.

For giggles, I won't tell you what "these" are and I want to see if you can guess :)

I'm not a photographer so this may not be the best representation.

Feels pointless...

I'm 3 days in. Playing the... oh hell I forget the Pact. The one with the aoe stun, heal and birds.

I'm having fun with it. I got lucky and my starter staff had 5 tempers on it, so it felt good to use.

The game is already repetitive but it's not too bad. I would give my general experience a 7.5/10

Where I'm really beginning to lose interest is not finding armor and equipment for even minor progression bumps.

I'd like to find some armor that is a little better than the starter stuff.

I'd like to find a talisman that isn't a one stat waste of space.

Everyone is telling me to craft stuff. Well first off I have no idea where to get these fragments to craft. The game absolutely SUCKS at giving any hints.

I shouldn't have to spent hours trying to find info online, that absurd. Everything I need should be in-game. When I click on an item I don't give a shit what window I'm in or whatever, show me the damn stats.

And what's with this ridiculous RNG on tempers on dropped weapons? Absolutely every single weapon that has dropped for me has been absolute garbage. You give me a 5 temper staff to start the game with then feed me trash drops from there on out. Why not give me trash to start with then let me find some great stuff out in the wild?

I heard a lot of people have just dropped the game recently with 15 and the temper changes. I don't blame them.

I'll stick with it and hopefully I can get some gear and get more excited.
