But physical security for devices like tablets, kiosks, or signage setups is often assumed to be “handled.” Then something breaks damage, theft, unplugging, wear issues and it suddenly becomes urgent. Curious how others are handling this gap during deployment planning.

I’ve been looking into the fastest way to prepare for TEF/TCF French exams for Canadian immigration, especially for reaching B1–B2 level for PR points. The main challenge for most people isn’t starting French, but actually improving speaking and exam performance in a consistent way.

From what I’ve seen, apps and YouTube videos help with basics, but they don’t really prepare you for real exam speaking or writing sections. There’s no feedback, so it’s easy to keep repeating mistakes without noticing.

What seems to work better is learning with a skilled tutor in live sessions, especially when they can correct pronunciation, structure answers like in the exam, and push you to respond under pressure. That kind of interaction is hard to get from self-study or videos.

Has anyone here tried live tutor-based TEF/TCF preparation compared to self-study or YouTube?

I've been doing a lot of underwater metal detecting in a local river and some shallow beach spots lately. I'm getting great signals, but the overburden is killing me. Hand-fanning through 10+ inches of sand and silt to recover a target is exhausting and eats up so much of my dive time.

I saw a guy on YouTube using a small DPV (underwater scooter) backwards to act like a sand blaster and clear the target area in seconds. Has anyone here actually tried this setup? Does it work, or does the thrust just blow you backward instead of moving the sand? Looking for gear recommendations if this is a legit strategy.
