Pizza By The River

I’ve been coming to the Bryson City / Nantahala area for the last 7 years. Always loved PBR, but it’s been under construction for the last three years (I think?)…

Does anyone know what happened or their plan is? The building is beautiful and it looks 80% done..

I hope the folks behind the business are ok!

Traffic - what’s your deal Ocala?

I drive through Ocala about two dozen times a year. I’ve driven through mornings, afternoons, evenings.. weekdays and weekends…

In nearly three years, i75 has always been backed up. Doesn’t matter the time… and almost never accident related… definitely always at Belleview Dunnellon exit. If there’s anything more than tire on the side of the road, forget it… NB and SB totally shut down.

Ya’ll need to do some planning… maybe play some SimCity to get ideas.

AI call screening..

I know everyone hates spam and getting 10 random bs calls a day that you just ignore… I get these calls too.. yup, annoying.

But can we please agree that the “Please state your name and Google voice will try to connect you” or the “please say your name and the purpose of you call…” nonsense and then they play the shit hold music / noise…

I’m calling people I know and it feels like I am calling a 800-number to Comcast or the DMV. Yes, I’m in their contacts but some carriers and phones still put you through this madness.

Yeah, I get it that spam calls suck, but is this really the direction we need to go?

I guess i’ll just wait for someone to create an AI call making app for non-scammers, so it can call your AI call screen app and the two bots can duke it out and then let us know if it’s worth us talking.
