Can someone tell me how retirements benefits work in this local?

Got hired into Pipefitters Local 533 today as a Service Fitter. I am just so excited and have no one to tell my emotions are spilling out of my body!!!

I have an interview for a service technician position at DMG in orange this week. Has anyone worked here?

Feeling extremely down right now, I am in the KC area looking to get onto pipefitters 533. I have been talking to tons of companies directly to people high up, but nothing comes from these conversations.. I have no problem getting into talk with companies so it gets me that nothing or any new opportunities comes from them. Don’t know what to do. Need some advice!

Company wants to to go work for free after a mess up of something simple 1-2 hours unpaid. Are you doing it? Is it right to work unpaid even if you messed up?
