Newbie here, got some questions.

0: im coming from 40K imperial guard, so Im used to this army style I hope.

1: I want to learn the game and find a noob friendly list to learn the rules, mechanics and the army with.

2: I got 2 of the solar aux combat patrol equivalent, velataris to proxy in 40K and have a painting project, i just got another combat force ( the combat patrol ) for my birthday.

3: strictly 30k I have 60 las riflemen, 15 command squad models, 6 Hermes sentinels, and 3 leman russes.

I have 2 40K russes and I have various other model but I don’t think they’d fit in.

4: I have a 3d printer, now before Im crucified it wasn’t originally for 40K, I’ve used it for massive models for fun and such but not really anything small. So what Im saying is if there’s a great model but it’s FW and hella expensive I can just 3d print it.

5: I used new recruit to preview the army, and my brain broke when I looked at tercios and how there’s no point costs, but massive win that war gear is payed for.

6: TLDR ( your welcome, I’d want a TLDR )

Im a 40K guard player who got some 30k auxillia models, I want to learn to play and find a good noob friendly list to learn and play with.

Are these the right size?

The two tanks in the middle are printed, everything else is official, a rogal dorn and a leman Russ, are they the right size? Didn’t have a banana sadly.

First, how do I get rid of these ghastly layer lines? Im using a Bambu A1 with a .2 nozzle, is it because I almost have 1,000 plus printing hours on it? 2nd what’s the best way to angle my models/parts to minimize layer lines, support scaring and still keep it strong?
