After months of modeling, my new ruin set is finally finished. This is by far the largest scenery project I’ve ever painted, and the whole painting process took around 10 days. Painting all those stones, wooden beams, and rooftops was quite a challenge, but seeing everything come together made it worth it.

Hey! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what may be causing these weird like…spires? I haven’t had this issue at all until about a week ago, and now it is consistently happening on these models. I’ve repaired them, re-sliced, and re-positioned on the plate and it just continues

This took around 3 months in total
Roughly a month to print
Few weeks to sand prep and all that
Few more weeks for paint.

For now i just kinda smooth them out by hand or print BIG but thats tedious and expensive. Besides the obvious getting a smaller nozzle is there anything i can do on a very restricted budget to get my prints to look better?

Before painting and after! Hell of a lotta trouble, hell of a lotta fun!

This is my conversion of the very nice Stompa model from Tersus from 28mm to 8mm gargant. I removed the hatches, added new 8mm doors, added walkways from plasticard, a killa missile on top of the head, removed the observation post and added a lifta-dropa, added an other turret, changed all small weapons with cannons- from super heavy tanks, and added a belly gun.

Painted with acrylics and acrylic markers, metalics from markers and Tru metals from AK. washes from Vallejo.

P.s This is the largest of the Gargants (added a shadowsword for scale), but I cant write it or include the link from cults 3d because it has M.E.G.A in the text

Unfortunately I have been collecting a lot of Space Marine Models over the years. You know, the other half of kits that I wanted something else in, Combat Patrol Magazine subscription, etc. I have well over 2.5k of unbuilt SMs.

Recently I decided to at least start building some of them, and am now on to the MKII marines from the Age of Darkness Saturnine box (the Terminators of which I have been working on comverting to Mutilators and Obliterators for my CSM army).

Anywho... these are just some resin base toppers I made and printed to help bring those MKII marines from Horus Heresy up to 40k height. Nothing overly impressive.

Here's a few units of Primaris marines that I recently picked up and built- two units of Suppressors, one unit of Inceptors, and one proxy Desolation squad. All with Silver Skulls pauldrons.

As I purchased these from someone else, I naturally do not have links to files, unfortunately.

I'm pretty damned happy with these, and I am absolutely looking forward to getting some paint onto them as soon as possible.

These miniatures are all pinned to their bases, as I didn't feel the need to put them in the air, so to speak.

I don't care that the Suppressors have gone to Legends, these guys WILL be getting deployed in future games. With the input and assistance of friends from my local gaming club, I will be reworking their datasheet and points cost for 11th edition.

Legends never die, Brothers- they just get another deployment.

Edit: I do not have stl files for these, the miniatures were purchased from a seller. After speaking with them, said seller does not want to share their files, and neither do they wish to be named or have me link anyone to them- they wish to remain anonymous and under the radar.
