Unfortunately I have been collecting a lot of Space Marine Models over the years. You know, the other half of kits that I wanted something else in, Combat Patrol Magazine subscription, etc. I have well over 2.5k of unbuilt SMs.

Recently I decided to at least start building some of them, and am now on to the MKII marines from the Age of Darkness Saturnine box (the Terminators of which I have been working on comverting to Mutilators and Obliterators for my CSM army).

Anywho... these are just some resin base toppers I made and printed to help bring those MKII marines from Horus Heresy up to 40k height. Nothing overly impressive.

Finished painting up the first of my new squad of 10 Mace Celestian Sacresants. 9 more to go.

The Reiltinue of the Endless Night are the most elite personal body guards among the Sisters of the Order of the Emperors Hand. Their numbers consist solely of Sisters once deemed as lacking in faith and condemned to the Repentia. While all others among the condemned perish for their sins in a vain attempt at salvation, these warriors are the blessed few who find redemption. Their black armor, a symbol of their once failed commitment to the Sisterhood and the Emperor homself, is deemed to never be polished or repaired and to remain with all scars intact from battle to battle. A stark reminder of each wound their once betrayal inflicted upon their fellow Sisters until the day they too fall in a final act of service in the name of the Emperor.

3 down. 7 to go. Taking about 2 hrs to get each one done.

Had a lot of senseless meeting at work today ... and this is what I do on days filled with senseless meetings while sitting on said senseless meetings.

Still very much in progress and just working on the hull. Not any details done yet. Not really sure what to call the color which is a mix of dabbed on reds and a splash of purple on top of primed black.

I'm thinking of calling it Warp Blood ... or something like that.

I had Intranzia Fraye assembled at the end of 10th, but finally got around to painting her up. Now she is truly ready to help lead the Order of the Emperor’s Hand into battle against the enemies of the Imperium.

Just posting an update to Benediction's hull paint and her primarily purple scheme. A layer of lavender then a layer of metallic tanzanite later ... and this is where she's at (first pic) vs last night (second pic).

I think it turned out rather well.

Time to start working on the other bits and parts.

Yesterday I decided I wanted to refresh the paint on on one of my Castigators for the Order of the Emperor’s Hand to celebrate 11th Edition.

As of today, Emperor’s Grace is now gold and purple instead of bronze.

Then today, while coats were drying on the that one, I decided it was time to finally give Benediction (purple) her paint. Her color scheme will basically be the inverse of Emperor’s Grace.

Hopefully will have her finished in another day or so.

She was sitting primed for a while, but I finally decided to spend about 4 hrs painting her this weekend from my CSM army.

Really just needed a break from all the hot pink and purple of my in progress EC and all the fiddly little bits of assembling more of my Battle Sisters and needed something to distract me from those frustrations.

Decided to start working on a battlefield for an upcoming game this weekend. I was actually a little shocked at the fact I was able to eyeball everything to pretty much half an inch. On the first go. Took me less than 10 minutes to set up using terrain cutouts done on the Cricut and terrain printed on my 3d printer.

Been messing around with paint scheme and think I did pretty good in the end. Not going for pro quality, just something that looks good from normal viewing distance on the tabletop.

Trying to come up with a bunch of new terrain for 11th edition that roughly fits the profiles I have seen. These are the latest.

Just have to build her.

Designed and printed up some extra EC bodies and doubled the numbers of Infractors I was able to get from 1 of the official kit using all the leftover arms.

Just needed to raid my bits bin for a few extra shoulder pads.

I am pleased with how they turned out. Now they just need painted.

Since the Lords of Excess box pretty much comes with enough bits (less basically the bodies) to build two full squads of both Infractors and Tornentors, I decided to try and design and print the extra bodies (along with a few miscellaneous chaos space marine left over bits) needed to get 20 and 20 from the set.

Obviously the middle torso and legs in the pic is the first test build and print I created. Mostly for sizing and to check details and such.

Looks maybe a hair too beefy, but I think overall good. What's everyone else think? Reads as EC Tormentor/Infractor enough?
