I bought something (a top and bottoms set) listed as BNWT, and you can clearly see the tags attached in the listing photos. Having arrived, the plastic attaching the tag has been pulled through the jumper to rip it out of the ribbon that was attaching it (purely for that purpose, doesn't affect aesthetics or function for me) and the cardboard tags are no longer attached. I also just think it looks worn. I strongly suspect they yanked the plastic through the ribbon and removed the cardboard tags so it could be worn (after photographing it) and then sent it out, but I obviously don't have proof of this. I do have proof there aren't any cardboard tags, but obviously the seller could claim I'm making that up.

I want the item, I don't care about a refund, it makes basically no difference to me. But I don't believe they've been honest so also don't want to rate them 5* for it. Do I leave them a 4* review where they might leave me a 1* review back and claim I'm lying, or message them first in which case we might also just get into an argument about it? What's considered best form on vinted?
