splicing not giving you new options if you restart too soon is pointless. you can just purposely die and get new options, regardless of how soon said death was.

I‘ve just been trying to get up to pressure 20 and unlock the last gene I don’t have yet, but I keep getting my butt kicked. And it only gets harder and worse from here… what am I doing wrong to have more consistent runs?

I’ve seen this game on Steam, and was tempted to get it, but I’ve seen reviews that have me on the fence. with there being no Steam demo; I need an objective opinion from those who bought the game. Does it check all the boxes, or do you find yourself in a stalemate?

So, I've beaten the game (great experience by the way) , but I am unsure if I have unlocked all of the modifiers I can for doing so, like I just got one for bumbling into the Beast Mina form, but I am curious if there are other modifiers I can unlock. There appears to be a TON that already opened up to me as it is. I tried to google it, but the only page that claimed to display them all was FULL off inaccurate details...

Ive cleared 2 of the spark generators and working on my third, but I’m really starting to not jell with the platforming (I’m in the snow area for those wondering) , not helped by the fact I think I missed out on a trinket permanently (dude fell in the water and floating away I don’t even know where) .

Various elements of the experience are just starting to feel… off to me. I am halfway considering starting fresh and tuning things down, but with how much I’ve already played, I feel like I would be throwing in the towel to not continue on the intended experience.

What would you guys suggest? Tough it out and keep going? Or use the modifiers to make my life easier? I am enjoying the boss fights and the Zelda 2 esque leveling system (even if it also has dark souls esque elements which… eeeeeh… not gonna weigh in on that too much, seems there’s enough discourse on that) , but there are elements that just are not working for me.

I’m officially in the post game (Hence the “Major Spoiler Warning” ) , but in chapter 8, I am stuck on the last mission for Gobbobble where you need to interact with every creature according to the book?

But I have no idea if I’ve seen them all, and I also don’t know what counts as “interacting with them” for the purposes of this mission.

I am struggling to even reach the final boss on this pressure level for whatever reason, and I know it’s only going to get harder.

What genetics should I be using, and which of them are traps? I have all of them except the ones that require higher pressure level clears.

Any other advice you can give would be exteremly appreciated.

Trying to do the “Cleared out the entire lake” in chapter 6’s lunge fish, but I literally ate every fish I could find in the water, and didn’t find anything “inedible” for it. Any assistance would be much appreciated!

so the reviews of the new game are coming in and… I’m undeterred from buying it. This is coming from someone who’s played a fair share of Kirby games, I’m not a long time fan, only since Star Allies really which hooked me on the pink puffball, but when it comes to those games, they only really get hard (usually) when going for 100%, otherwise it’s a (spring) breeze.

Even if this game is on the easier side as far as puzzles or whatever else, I’m fine with that. I actually welcome a more laid back, relaxed platformer I can escape from reality with. Most cozy games I’ve played have been farming related in some fashion, so having something else in that niche is very appreciated to me.

Does anyone else feel this way; or is it just me?

I want a porygon 2 in the post game, but I need to know how the trade evolution works, if I give the porygon an upgrade, trade it to a save without the national dex, will the upgrade still be consumed on a failed evolution, or can the porygon be traded back and actually evolve on my save that does have the national dex?

I just got the crystal crown to show up on a recent run, but I wanna know if there are any other hidden cards I can unlock (or even hidden crawlers besides missingno) and how I might get them. I know the hero’s pants are an unlock, but that’s the only other secret card I already know exists.
