Things you didn't know, somehow, after playing for so long.

I'd like to start a thread of things that you learned after a long time of playing that would have helped you a lot along the way.

For example: after years and years of playing, I learned you can recharge a tele staff with a chipped gem and an ort rune. Not sure how that escaped me for so long. When you reach the point you can burn through orts, you can definitely afford the repair costs, but it feels like it saves me time with new characters to not have to go back to town. I just bring a couple orts and chips along(especially in act 3, where it feels like the blacksmith is on the other side of the world).

Question about the sliders for the biomes.

I always see that warning when setting the biome percentages of "blah blah, may break trader progression". Does anyone know what percent of a biome will absolutely not spawn a trader?

While we're at it, I would like to hear experiences of people who have done like.... 100% forest only. I love the forest and the snow so much, I was thinking of starting a 50/50 world, but If anyone has experience with stuff like that I would like to get some recommendations before I waste my time.

I don't really care about trader progression, Rekt is my ride or die at this point. I. Just curious if it causes any problems later down the road that I may not notice right away.
