So I went to update my retro set up script. It ain't update because it can't install python3--uninput, and libfmt-dev. The version is now 4.8.12, but I still can't install lr-ppsspp, or anything else.
Is there other ways to install?
I have opened the terminal to install them both, but they both have issues it says complete then under says failed to fetch some archives. I don't know why. When running Apt-get it says it cannot open lock file, and has problem unlinking 2 files

I was thinking Linux mint, then then there's actual gaming Distro. I will not be doing school a lot, but I want to be able to use it for school, and mainly gaming.
I'm on an HP laptop, 8GB of ram. I want to be able to play all my steam games too.
I probably will dual boot.
