Miss Penelope Joy arrived today, and I have not stopped fussing over her since I unboxed her. I don't know how I can just pack her up for two weeks, so I might think of some special way I can ring my birthday in with her.

For a lil bit of background, some spots close to us have been issued evac orders due to the wildfires, but there's not been one issued for us. I leave on a trip for two weeks out of the country on the 15th.
My major fear is that we'll be issued an evac order while I'm gone, and I'll have to get a housemate of mine to pack up everyone and take them to safety (along with other belongings), and I plan on either putting my babies wrapped up in a suitcase/plastic tote (think rubbermaid) but I also have a Julieta by Ping Lau. I don't think she'll fit in a large suitcase, or a Rubbermaid (unless I take her apart, which I don't want to do) and there's no way my housemate will just come into my space to get her in case evac ends up happening, so what kind of container can I put her in that will allow her to be easily scooped up and packed?
(Mods forgive me if this is the wrong flair) But I'm gonna list her for sale and I very recently noticed (I don't think I noticed this at time of purchase) that she has these marks? I've never opened her box. I've never taken her out. I've never touched the figure physically. Any idea what could have made that? There's no damage to the box at all, or anywhere else I can see without unboxing her. She's one of the Suicide Squad, #1108.

I'm on the Canada side of the wildfires, and while I'm not too too close to any major fires, there is smoke being blown up over my way.
Before the fires all really started, I used to take my babies out and about for walks, and it was nice and good, but I haven't really taken them out since the smoke showed up. I feel like my mental health has since tanked as the furthest I go these days w them is the door, and I want to start taking them out again (even though I probably shouldn't) is there a way I can? Something I can bring to like protect them or something?

I was taking photos of my boy to list for sale (this is not a sale post btw) but since I've sold more girls than boys, I put him in a boy outfit and a girl outfit, and I'm not totally sure what it is, but I really do think I like him as a girl now?
I adopted him as a girl, but I really didn't like him as one at first (he's got really short hair, and I didn't think it suited a girl), so he became boy, but now I'm not so sure.

She's a Julieta by Ping Lau, so I'm guessing PL stands for Ping Lau, but I don't know what T2 is. Anyone else have a Julieta/a different Ping Lau that has similar marking?

I'm already so excited to see him painted! The artist I've been talking to doesn't do rooting, so I'll have to find someone to root, and I don't know if I can ask them to add a magnetic paci, I'm just excited!! I already want him to have a twin
Yesterday afternoon I got an arthroscopy and I'm not sure if this is normal, but the anesthesiologist or whatever gave me my sedation and local sedative or whatever to the leg they were working on, and I still cannot feel below the knee save for my foot. (This happened about 2pm yesterday, it's now 7am)

Like I can curl my toes and move my foot, but the only thing I feel from like kneecap down is when I touch my other foot to it and that's not a lot of sensation either. Sorry if this is not the sub to ask this on, I just don't know what to do or if this is a concern
So I'm not an artist myself in the slightest but there's this one kit I want done, so I posted a want listing. It's a LE kit that's not sold out yet, but I'm scared it will between now and whenever/ if ever the listing gets responded to, so would it be better if I bought the blank kit to hold onto and shipped it out when I got a response, or should I wait for a response before buying the kit?
Saw her being sold by someone who has two reviews for knockoffs and wondering if anyone recognizes the sculpt or a similar one? I just think her little face is sweet.
I recently got my hands on the smallest baby I've ever owned (16 inches) and she's way too small for normal preemie stuff. Any idea where I could find clothes that actually fit her? I was even looking at stuff for like baby dolls, but that is either not great quality, or too steep of a price. Any ideas?
Just trying to figure out size? I know she wears 3-6 and is quite small, so I'm thinking maybe a 1-2? If anyone has a Sandie, please let me know.

Received a baby today that thankfully does not smell of smoke, but gives off that telltale older person smell (got him secondhand from a lovely older woman) how would I go about trying to clean him up? He's got full arms and legs btw. Any help is appreciated.
