Did anyone every hear anything from Paradise Galleries in regards to shipping? I have an order from february/march that has still not been fulfilled. If I hadn't have bought from them before I'd have thought they were a scam site.
Was definitely a learning experience. I don't know if I have the patience to try it again! Lol. This little girl is Sylvi Aisling. I need to do another coat of varnish...she is pretty streaky. Or I may just put a hat on her. :)
I haven't posted in a while. Life has been busy! Here are some work in progress pictures of this sweet boy I have been working on. Isaac by Ebtehal Abul.
I’ve had this baby since May 7th but kept her to myself to bond until my birthday. Now I’m sharing her with all you lovely people!!! This is Saoirse (seer-shuh) Claire!
Hi all, i just finished the Cecilia sculpt from Bonnie Sieben and am not sure how much to price her . I am thinking $250-300, as I see others in similar quality priced around that. Some of my friends think I should charge more, but they aren't collectors. I'm new to this, but i know there are high expectations. She was made with professional grade acrylics and mediums, and her hair is both painted and prismacolor. Her eyelashes are rooted.
Only issue: I moved recently and in the process of decluttering I must have accidentally tossed her COA (along with other important docs I'm having a hard time locating). Not sure how much that might bring it down, any insights would be helpful.
Here are few of my Berenguer babies that I've reborned using multi-layers of acrylic air dry paints combined with a matte varnish.
she's from a mold sculpted by "Sheila Michael" she's weighted and anatomically correct and she's wiggly and jointed with moveable head & limbs
I'm so excited to share the progress of painting Esenia!
I think I'm ready to start lanugo, milia and fine details on her head and blush her hands and feet. I also gotta give her nails.
I hope you like her 🥰
This sculpt is from Macpherson. I just finished. He has a super large eye area and protruding cheeks, a weak chin, so he looks good when he sees down, but rather fun when he lays his head to one side—so much character than realistic. But I started to love him so much!
This is the frizzle kit, my first kit painted by myself that I've actually fully completed. I was hoping to take him out on a walk but too nervous that he looks too "doll like".
This is my Elliot by Cassie Brace. His name is Benjamin, but I'm thinking of changing it. Any name suggestions?? Does anyone else have an Elliot kit? I don't see a lot of this kit.
I am so sad that I won't be able to make it to the DOTWE show due to an operation I'll be having in June 😭😭😭 I'm having a stomach operation and I won't be able to attend due to my health (but I'm for sure going to make it next year) but also in a decision-made turn of events, I decided not to make twins (despite my infant loss of losing twins) I decided to make just one doll and I promise I'm okay with this decision and also with some financial situation stuff its easier with just one doll... I might make some different ones in the future and definitely around Halloween I definitely want to make some for the holiday spirit but for now I'm only going to keep the one in my collection and I'm going to probably sell the ones I make for the holidays 🙃
🖤🫶🏻Thank you for coming to my random post 🫶🏻🖤
She’s too cute not to share! 🥰 Can’t wait to get some outdoor photos tomorrow🤗❤️
