I recently painted my first cuddle head and I’m worried about hair. I originally planned on leaving him bald, sadly I’ve noticed bald babies (within my painting style & skill) sell much cheaper than I’d like to price him.

Then I thought of painting hair and immediately decided against it (horrible at it). Now I’m thinking of rooting. I’ve heard collectors say they prefer painted hair on cuddle babies because they’re meant to cuddle (rooted hair could often get matted from cuddles).

What do you think?

I’m mid season 5 and I’m assuming this storyline has finished.

I find it incredibly unrealistic for Kate, a heavily self conscious grieving 18 year old to have left her ‘abusive’ boyfriend after two comments about her weight, and one night of abusive behaviors.

The average 18 year old is not mature enough for this. Kate is not mature in the slightest at any other point, why would she be in this situation?

Another problem I see is the abortion, once again Kate is 18 years old and grieving, she would most likely have kept the baby. Along with going back to abusive boyfriend multiple times.

Kate is not mature and emotionally secure enough for this storyline to be true. This just feels unrealistic and unnecessary.

I bought a heat lamp from irresistibles nearly a month ago, the included bulb lasted a few hours (around a week of rooting), then randomly burned out. I received a new bulb after requesting. (I’m assuming this is not normal due to them immediately agreeing to send me a new bulb) New bulb burned out within 2 weeks of use (maybe 10 hours of use). Is this normal?

I’d like to add that I do not think this is users error, I turn my lamp off once heated well (5-10min) and only turn it back on once it’s hard to root again.

Why are so many people in the Reborn community okay with ai? Not even just okay with it, adamant to use it! There are many popular artists who have used it for posters, their babies boxes, their logos, other useless things they send home with their dolls, etc. Then there are the artists who enhance their babies or use ai to make their dolls expressive or move, what is the point in this? You’re an artist, if you want an expressive doll paint an expressive doll. If you want your doll to move, move it yourself on camera and crop out your arm/hand. Stop ruining the planet because you’re lazy. It is crazy to me that you will sit and paint a doll for weeks, but then be too lazy to design your own logos and or move your doll around on camera for a few seconds. The stupidest thing I’ve seen so far (reason for this rant) was an artist using ai to open her dolls eyes. If you want an awake kit, buy an awake kit.

I really like the legs on this kit (Drew Ann) but because she is discontinued she’s quite hard to find (and i dislike the arms and head on the kit so if i did find her i wouldn’t really want her), are there any other kits with similar legs?
