It's the only way. It worked for Trump, it'll work for AOC or Newsom. Trump only ever lost one election because of COVID mismanagement, swing states voters relish and vote for conflict, chaos and threats of weaponizing the justice system otherwise. Learn from what is proven to win at the ballot box, not what idiots in news organizations and social media sites think.

Ultimately we just can't get around the hard problem of consciousness and the question of why there is something rather than nothing. But it's obviously not any of the conventional religions because we observe evil. Thus, there is god/intelligence/design of some sort, but they have chosen to create a universe of evil and torment rather than one of good. There is a malevolent, not a benevolent or neutral, observer, but there is likely nothing we can do about it. We are at the mercy of our evil ruler forever.

Trying to do things the "right way," "follow the law" etc. is literally why Democrats and actual leftists lose. Normal people don't give a shit about any of that, they don't know how the government works and they don't want to know or care about "separation of powers" or other such constructs as an excuse. They just want results, and with this political reality that is only possible with an autocratic left wing figure.

It looks like some kind of reverse reverse psychology, to try to make guns look bad to make guns look bad people look bad to make guns look good. Just an obvious kind of illusion. Like just think about how easy it would be to pull this off with basically unlimited government resources and funding and how well it would influence public opinion.
