So, why spend spare time doing anything else like unnecessary socializing, worshipping fraudulent religious ideas, etc?

Raising a child to age 18 costs over $300K now, not to mention they try to put you on the hook for college tuition, etc.

Whereas abortion costs as little as $0 with some off label options, or if you actually have health care. Even out of pocket at a legit center it's only like $500 or so, a relative bargain. It's just very clear that it all really comes down to financial ignorance vs clarity, and this part of the issue I never see talked about but it explains the whole divide. The other person is the worst person ever if they disagree about even 1 thing, while forgetting that they individually do not know everything, and certainly were not born knowing what they do now or having this current set of beliefs. They attack, and ragebait, criticize, shun, etc even though their current beliefs had to be taught to them. They are something they were exposed to, somehow, probably by someone else much more patient than they are.

Nothing damages the causes of leftism more than leftists; they are correct about pretty much everything but forget to be kind. Most online desperately need to do some inner searching and learn some humility and patience. Even though it is supposed to be core to their own worldview, most forget that the causes of ignorance, evil and misdeeds are structural and not irredeemable, individual/personal moral failings.

If you ask me, no one is dumber or more oblivious. Like Kant's position on animals, chat bots may not be able to feel but in insulting and degrading them, we insult and degrade ourselves and our natural sense of empathy as it relates to each other.
