I hope the old raids that are being unvaulted get a seal.
I know everyone is hoping we get updated gear and such but it would also be great to have a seal grind as well for the raids that never had one. Just one more thing on the wish list.

I will be logging in just to show my support for destiny.

EDIT - for everyone saying "this is normal" its not. Its standard for them to say "don't talk about games in the same genre" but there is a huge difference between saying a competitor and a game that is also owned by the same studio in response to an outrage about one being sacrificed for the other.
Also they dont just say destiny they specifically say destiny 3.
its crazy how many people in these comments cant understand the nuance of this situation.
We are approaching 40 thousand players on steam, the highest point in a while. The new update has not even come out yet. It seems ridiculous to end destiny when its data apparent that many people still care about this franchise and are just waiting for a time to come back. In the past, the player count seems to 3-4 x the baseline before the update. So in that case we are projected to peak tomorrow at 148k concurrent, which is about 40k higher than edge of fate launch. I think we will get closer to 200k since this update isn’t like the other ones and many more people are jumping in for the last update. It just seems outrageous to me that with this much of a fan base that is RIGHT in front of them, they are just gonna throw that away. Burning 2 billion dollars instead of investing 500 million for destiny 3. Seems like a no brainer to me. Hopefully they save destiny

This made my heart skip a beat
The destiny 2 player count is continuing to go up and is approaching 19000 players, which is a 43 percent gain in the last 30 days.
Destiny is currently at 16,000 players and still continuing to go up. The last time it has been this high is February 8th 2026.

UPDATE: the reason this is significant is not because of the number of players (its not high). Its the upward trend. It shows the community cares. Now we have to wait for june 9th
