Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Cluck

This is the nen ability I've come up with for Cluck, the Chicken (I must admit this is the one that took me the longest to come up with xD).

Inspiration: I designed it thinking about her outfit (which reminds me a bit of peacocks and the Brazilian carnival) and how we saw she could manipulate several pigeons at once.

Ability name: Great Migration (The King's Thousand Eyes)

Nen type: Manipulation + Emission + Enhancement

Effects: The user can create a series of seeds that can be given to a bird (mixed with normal seeds). Once a bird consumes one, it comes under the user's control. The seed stores the user's commands and accumulates the bird's Nen to facilitate its journey (using Enhancement to accelerate its flight and Manipulation to locate its targets, such as when sending messages to the hunters during the Election).

The user is always aware of the status of her birds and can, once a day, send extra Nen to her seeds to improve their control and condition.

Once the objective has been achieved or the Nen in the seed has been depleted, the seed will disappear and the bird will be freed from its control. A signal will be sent to the user's mind, along with the bird's location.

Its restrictions are:

- The user can only control birds with this technique. If other animals consume the seeds, nothing will happen; their Nen will simply be slowly depleted.

- The user can send Nen to all of their birds once a day. However, once they do, they will be forced into a Zetsu state for a time equal to the number of birds controlled (since 1 controlled bird = 2 minutes of Zetsu, meaning that using this ability on 100 birds equates to 200 minutes (3 hours and 20 minutes)). If this ability is used, it affects all birds simultaneously, not a specific one.

- Once a bird is freed from this control, it cannot be controlled again by the user for a period of time equal to 10 times the duration of control (for example, if she controlled a flock of pigeons for a month, she cannot attempt to control any more for another 10 months).

The King's Thousand Eyes: This ability is one that the user created as a defensive measure. It allows her to create, through emission, Nen constructs from her ornaments, forming several fan-like displays resembling those of a peacock.

The pattern varies daily, but always features eyes, and any person (Nen user) who gazes upon these eyes is frozen in place.

Its restrictions are:

- The user can only use this ability once every 12 hours, and it only affects Nen users (since these constructs can only be seen with Gyo).

- An enemy already affected by this ability will become immune for the rest of the day.

- The duration of the block is based on both the length of time the user keeps their constructs visible to the enemy and the enemy's Nen category in relation to Manipulation.

For example, if Cluck kept the enemy's construct visible for 10 minutes before deflecting/undoing it, and this enemy was an Enhancer, since Enhancement is three positions (included as one) above Manipulation, this user would be blocked for 30 minutes.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Ginta

This is the Nen ability designed for Ginta, the Sheep.

Inspiration: I drew inspiration from both his sheep theme and his role as a Poacher Hunter.

Ability Name: Paradise Ranch(Natural offering)

Nen Type: Emission + Enhancement

Effects: This ability allows the user to transform an existing Nen space into an area where they can control what is inside and what is outside. For example, if they apply this power to a farm and encounter cattle rustlers, they can teleport them out, and the moment they try to leave, they will be teleported out again.

This ability can be powered by the user themselves or supplemented (in terms of Nen supply) by other living beings within the enclosed area (such as animals living inside). However, the user must first ask permission from these animals and people living in the area to use their Nen.

Regarding its restrictions:

- The area covered by this ability must be clearly defined (either by man-made elements such as small stone walls, wooden fences, etc.) or by natural elements such as forest edges, rock formations, and so on). If the area is not delimited, the ability cannot be activated.

- The user can only autonomously maintain an area of up to 10 hectares with this ability active. Beyond that, for each additional hectare, they require permission from a large animal (such as a magical creature or a large animal from the ecosystem, like an elephant, bear, etc.) or several smaller animals (such as a few sheep, foxes, birds, etc.).

- The ability will only remain active as long as the user does not leave the area or enter Zetsu.

- While inside, the user cannot use any Nen techniques other than Ren, Ten, and Gyo (Zetsu can also use these, but using them immediately deactivates the ability).

Natural Offering: This technique allows the user, through a natural auditory signal such as a whistle, a howl, or the sound of a horn, to send Nen, via Emission, to a living being within a pre-created area to enhance some aspect of that being (such as its healing, strength, speed, Nen production, etc.).

This power also has its limitations:

- It cannot be activated without first summoning the chosen area.

- It only works on other living beings, not on the user themselves.

- The user can only activate it through the natural sound they create; the target of the ability must hear it to receive the power.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Saiyu

This is the idea of ability I had for Saiyu, the Monkey.

Inspiration: Just as Saiyu is visually inspired by Sun Wukong, I have decided to take one of his powers to create his nen ability.

Ability name: 72 Forces of the Monkey King (Good dream disguise)

Nen type: Emission + Manipulation + Enhancement + Transmutation(for a technique)

Effects: This Nen ability allows its user to generate Nen beasts identical to themselves or any object they have previously touched (including targets).

These beasts will follow the instructions Saiyu transmits through his Nen, and he can also strengthen them with Enhancement. He can also, with an extra expenditure of Nen, make them capable of deforming a part of their structure (for example, allowing those that mimic his appearance to extend his staff).

The maximum extension he can apply to a part of his beast is twice the size of the original part. Furthermore, each beast can use the different Nen techniques the user knows (such as In, En, Ren, etc.).

Regarding its restrictions:

- The user can only create a maximum of 72 beasts, and cannot create a new one until another has been destroyed. Additionally, the lifespan of these beasts is inversely proportional to the number of beasts summoned (a single beast can last up to 72 hours (3 days)).

- The range of Nen techniques a user can create is equal to the extent of the Nen beast's reach (i.e., twice the normal dimensions of the beast). For example, if a Nen beast is created in the shape of a pillar 1 meter in diameter, using Nen around it results in a 5-meter diameter (2-meter radius + the pillar itself). Using these techniques reduces the Nen beast's lifespan by 1 minute for every second of use.

- The beasts can move any distance they want, but can only receive new commands if they are within a 30-meter radius of the user. If they move outside this range, they cannot feed on their user's Nen or receive new commands.

- The user can only create a Nen beast from other people, living beings, or objects if they touched them while creating the Nen beast.

Good dream disguise: This technique is derived from his primary ability. It utilizes transmutation to manipulate his Nen and thereby change his physical appearance into that of any other object or living being he has previously touched (with an hour's notice and by applying a small amount of his Nen to the object beforehand, as requirements for selection).

However, this technique has three major weaknesses:

- The more complex and different in size the disguise is from the user, the harder it is to maintain (in the best-case scenario, when imitating another person, it can last for 12 hours, and in the worst, for only a few minutes).

- He can only disguise himself as living beings.

- The greatest weakness is that his disguises possess a palpable inconsistency that the user cannot control or eliminate (this can range from strands of his original hair peeking into the hair of the person he is copying, to his clothing remaining unchanged and not adapting to the chosen person, etc.). If another person points out or touches these inconsistencies and exposes them, their disguise will immediately fall apart.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Saccho Kobayakawa

This is the ability I planned for Saccho Kobayakawa, the Horse.

Inspiration: This is mainly due to his role as a bodyguard (both for Beyond and at the gates during the Association President elections, alongside Ginta) and his role as a Problem Hunter.

Ability Name: Active Resolve

Nen Type: Enhancement + Emission

Effects: This Hatsu allows the user to begin analyzing their target (whether an object, Nen beast, or person) by imbuing it with Nen. This analysis is subject to the time the target remains within Saccho's ability range (approximately 20 meters) and the complexity of what is being analyzed.

Once the analysis is complete, the user's mind, through Enhancement, is amplified and begins to work on a method or plan of action to counteract or eliminate the problem posed by the target.

If the user already understands how the target functions, their planning and mental Enhancement abilities activate immediately upon imbuing the target with Nen (or if they understand most but not all of its functions, they can simultaneously perform both analysis and planning, although doing so can overload their mind and make them less efficient in combat).

You can also apply this power to hypothetical scenarios or cases, although to do so you must activate your analytical power on yourself and gather as much information as possible about the scenario to be planned.

Regarding its limitations:

- The user can only use their power on one target at a time.

- If the target moves out of range (20m), their analysis will freeze, and the user will have 1 hour to bring it back into range. Otherwise, their analysis will be deactivated and restarted.

- To maximize their planning abilities, the user should be in a situation that doesn't require excessive concentration. If they are in a particularly challenging battle, the need to focus on avoiding enemies will slow down their planning.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Gel

This is the ability I designed for Gel, the Snake.

Inspiration: I was inspired by what we saw her do with her hand transformed into a snake and by her role as a Poison Hunter.

Ability name: Noxious Gathering (Python Extension)

Nen type: Conjuration + Manipulation + a little bit of Enhancement

Effects: Her ability, combined with Python Extension(the Conjuration's technique), allows her to conjure two snakes, one for each hand. They differ in that the snake in her right hand is a more fuchsia color with a red ribbon and has purple diamonds on its forehead instead of the hearts of the other (while the one in her left hand was already seen in the manga/anime).

The snake in her right hand allows Gel to consume or extract poison from an organism or poison source that the snake attacks. While absorbing it, the user's aura analyzes and assimilates the poison into her body.

Once the poison is fully identified, her aura manipulates the remaining poison in her body, accumulating it in a specific area (or destroying it using her immune system, enhanced with Intensification).

Once the poison has been contained, there are two possible uses for this ability:

- She can redirect the poison to her left hand and give the snake in that hand (the one we already know) the ability to expel it (the number of hearts on its forehead indicates the dose and potency of the poison she wishes to apply, scaling from 4 (highest) to 1).

- With her right hand (the one that absorbs poison), she can use her Nen to conjure a liquid antidote effective against the assimilated poison (the number of diamonds on its forehead indicates the dose and difficulty of producing the antidote).

The restrictions of this ability are:

- The maximum range of his snake arms is 10 meters.

- Gel can only consume, analyze, and assimilate up to 4 poisons in her body at a time. If she ingests or absorbs a 5th poison, her ability will not activate until she gets rid of one of the other 4 poisons contained in her body.

- During the assimilation and analysis of the poison, the user cannot use Nen to strengthen her body against its effects, so she must endure them as she occur. The speed of the poison analysis depends on both the speed at which symptoms appear in the body and the absorbed dose (the faster the poison takes effect and the higher the dose, the faster the analysis).

- When creating the antidote, the user will need twice the time it took to analyze the poison. The amount produced in that time will be equal to the amount of poison absorbed (if she wish to produce more, she will need an additional equivalent amount of time for that extra production).

-The user can only absorb and analyze poisons and toxins with their ability (it is ineffective against diseases, unconventional poisoning (such as radiation poisoning), or Nen curses that have effects similar to poisons). However, in the latter case, she can use the correct antidote to reduce its effects on people affected by that Nen curse.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Botobai Gigante

Here's the idea I had for Botobai Gigante, the Dragon.

Inspiration: I came up with this ability by drawing inspiration from the mythology of Eastern dragons and how they were said to be able to affect the weather, as well as Botobai's role as a judge.

Ability name: Dragon Emperor's Judgment

Nen type: Conjurer + Manipulator

Effects: This Hatsu allows the user to conjure a Nen space where he will judge their enemy for their known crimes, giving the target the opportunity to prove their innocence. Both possess the same knowledge of the applied evidence, and if the enemy reveals their guilt or attempts to attack after being admonished, the user can conjure a weather event within their space (for 5 minutes) that he can control at will.

The type of weather event depends on the degree of condemnation the target receives, with the following levels:

- Level 1 (the lowest): Rain with some wind.

- Level 2: Sunny day with relentless sun.

- Level 3: Snow blizzard with moments of calm and moments of force.

- Level 4: Thunderstorm.

- Level 5 (the highest): Hurricane with lightning and torrential rain.

Within this weather, Botobai can control the direction and intensity of the weather elements as they strike his opponent.

However, this ability comes with powerful restrictions:

- Botobai must judge the enemy based on the laws of the location. If he allows his moral judgment to influence the verdict and it doesn't reflect the severity of the outcome, he will receive a severe punishment, losing access to his ability for 5 full days.

- If the enemy is found innocent in the judgment, both will be released from the Nen space, and the user will be unable to judge them again for the crimes stated during the activation of the ability.

- The user and the enemy have a maximum of 2 hours to reach a verdict regarding the crimes. If they fail to do so, all the information presented up to that point will be sufficient to determine a verdict.

- Finally, if the enemy (or anyone else who remains within the space when the ability is activated) attempts to attack Botobai during the trial, they will be reprimanded (meaning their crimes will be considered at a higher level than the original sentence). If Botobai is the one who violates this rule, they will be reprimanded by having their enemy's sentence reduced by one level.

Question about Tserri's Guardian Beast

I suspect that this guardian beast would use Manipulation as its Nen category to fulfill its threat that lying to it a third time would make it cease to be human.

This is similar to how Zazan modified the Meteor City inhabitants with his stinger and ability, turning them into subservient monsters, or how we see Ilumi deform his face with his needles.

My idea is that, knowing a Manipulator cannot manipulate something already affected by another's Manipulator ability...

Could one avoid the guardian beast's punishment by applying a Manipulator ability to oneself or another person? (This assumes that the beast uses Manipulation as its Nen category.)

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Pyon

This is the ability I designed for Pyon, the Rabbit.

Inspiration: I focused primarily on the character's linguistic aspect, but I also wanted to incorporate her technological skills.

Ability Name: Mistress of Tongues (Machine Taker)

Nen Type: Manipulation + Emission

Effects: Mistress of Tongues is an ability that allows the user to mentally analyze people's words and, through keywords in different languages, master and understand any phrase in that language (which will be translated by her mind immediately). She can also, knowing the language of those people, use her Hatsu to instantly translate their words into the other language (all without making pronunciation errors, as her Hatsu corrects any mistakes that might arise from confusion in intonation during the communication process).

Even when Hatsu is deactivated, the language remains imprinted in her mind once learned. This ability can also be used with extinct languages and written texts (her Hatsu will manipulate her hand and fingers to make the written words grammatically correct).

It should also be noted that this Nen ability applies to non-vocal languages, such as sign language or binary code.

However, this ability has several limitations:

- The user's memory capacity only allows her to memorize up to 25 languages at a time. If she learns another language, the first one learned (not her native language) will slowly fade from her mind. To keep it fresh, she must repeat the process.

- Although the ability facilitates immediate communication, the only way to solidify memorized languages is through practice, making them easier to retain.

- The speed at which a language is mastered depends on how quickly the user analyzes it and how many keywords they are exposed to (words that are so frequently used in the language that they can help you understand other words that follow them. For example, "The" in English).

Machine Taker: This technique allows Pyon, using Emission and Manipulation, to infuse Nen into her words/gestures so that, upon reaching a machine, it will come under her command and follow her orders (for example: ordering a camera to send a Nen signal to the mind of a specific person if it detects them).

She can also use it on people, but it's more complicated (especially with Nen users). However, it's known that the user's ability is amplified against people if the order is given in the target's native language (and even more so if she hits the correct dialect).

However, there are restrictions to this technique:

- The user can only use one command per target, with a maximum of 50 targets that can be affected.

- With living beings, commands can only be given that do not go against the targets' instincts (such as the survival instinct) or their natural abilities (for example, a camera cannot be ordered to move to another point, as this is physically impossible).

- The user cannot use this technique in conjunction with their main technique. Therefore, if they wish to enhance their commands on people, they must test their mastery of their language and dialect on their own.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Kanzai

This is the ability I've envisioned for Kanzai, The Tiger.

Inspiration: I was primarily inspired by his attitude, his role as the Tiger, and a little bit by the idea of how dangerous his role as a Hunter can be.

Ability name: Tiger spirit (Call of the Beast)

Nen type: Enhancement + Transmutation + Emission + a little bit of Manipulation

Effects: This ability allows the user to transmute Nen around their body (especially their legs and arms) into powerful claws that, combined with Enhancement, allow the user to move and attack with the strength, speed, and stamina of a tiger. They can also mold their Nen to mimic a mouth and tail like those of a feline, further enhanced by Enhancement.

Its only restriction is that the user cannot use Enhancement separately from their transmutation (therefore, they must first summon their claws, paws, tail, or mouth before being able to enhance their body).

- Call of the Beast: This technique uses Emission to allow the user to create a Nen beast in the form of a giant tiger (approximately 3 meters tall). This Nen beast will follow simple commands based on its instincts, except for attacking the user or other people chosen by them.

In turn, the beast can utilize Enhancement to power up its attacks and a small amount of Emission to increase its range by extending its limbs when attacking. However, the attacking party gains only about a meter more distance.

This technique has significant limitations:

- The user can only use it if they are outnumbered. Once the numerical disadvantage disappears, the beast will vanish, and their Nen will return to Kanzai.

- Once the user summons the Nen beast, they cannot escape the battle. If they do, not only will their Nen beast disappear, but their Hatsu will also be deactivated for an entire day.

- The maximum range of the Nen beast is 10 meters. If the beast exceeds this range, it will prioritize returning to its user, even if it forces them to expose themselves to enemy attacks.

- Once the nen beast is defeated, the remaining nen returns to its user and they will not be able to summon the tiger again unless they supply it with enough nen to recover.

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Mizaistom Nana

Here I'll share the ability I designed for the hunter Mizaistom Nana, the Ox.

Inspiration: I conceived this ability inspired by his role as a Crime Hunter and the concept behind his Nen ability

Ability Name: Card Game

Type nen: Emitter + Manipulation + Enhancement

Effects: The user possesses the ability to mark a surface with tiny Nen blasts as small as a mosquito, creating an anchor point.

Once this is done, the user will carry two colored cards: one yellow and one red. If the yellow card is presented to someone with hostile intentions toward Mizaistom or anyone else present, while simultaneously uttering the command "Temporary Detention," it will activate the Nen marks. Nen ropes will emerge from these tethers, immobilizing the targets of the warning.

These tethers are strong enough to immobilize powerful Nen users with poor Enhancement affinity (such as Manipulators, Specialists, and Conjurers). If the user deems it necessary, they can detach the tethers from their anchors and combine them into a thick rope that they can hold, allowing them to drag their enemies along.

If the enemy becomes even more hostile, possessing the strength to destroy normal Nen ropes or posing a serious threat to those present, Mizaistom can present the red card along with the "Special Detention" command. Each side of this card has a different effect:

- Red Card, Oppressive Restriction: This side features an explosion symbol and reinforces the existing bonds around the enemy through Intensification, making it more difficult for the enemy to break free (or move with them if the character manages to sever the points where the ropes are attached and drags them along).

This card is restricted to use only on Emitters and Transmuters.

- Red Card, Exhausting Restriction: This side is represented by a ZZZ symbol and allows the user to use Manipulation to weaken the enemy's Nen flow (not reaching the level of Zetsu, but weakening the enemy's maximum strength) and causing a slow but increasing fatigue. If the bond remains active for more than 5 minutes, the enemy will fall asleep for a duration equivalent to 5 minutes for every minute the bond remains active.

This card is restricted to use only with Enhancers.

Its restrictions are as follows:

- The cards he uses are real, so if they are lost or destroyed, he needs to obtain replacements or he will be unable to use his full Nen ability. He must also activate Shu on his cards for them to respond to the command and activate their associated effects.

- Mizaistom cannot activate the Red card without first using the Yellow card, and he cannot use the Yellow card if there are no marks from which the bonds emerge.

- None of the bound individuals should be injured by the user or others, because if this occurs, each blow will weaken the bonds of that bound person by a proportion equal to the force of the blow.

- The restrictions on red cards must be applied correctly, otherwise the bonds will be undone, requiring you to repeat the caution process with the orange card and so on.

- Finally, this ability only considers the opponent's base ability for red cards (i.e., if they are a specialist who copies Hatsus and uses an Enhancement ability, they cannot use a red card if they don't want to suffer the penalty of undoing the bonds).

Twelve Days of the Zodiac: Pariston Hill

Here's the ability I came up with for Pariston Hill, the rat.

Inspiration: I devised this ability based on Pariston's demonstrated manipulative and anticipatory capacity, as well as the dynamic he has with Ging (being someone who, because he is so reserved with his information, would make Pariston's predictions erratic around him).

Ability Name: Supreme Planner

Nen Type: Specialist + Conjurer

Effects: This ability allows the user to conjure a board similar to a chessboard, but blank and with as many conjured pieces as the user desires. Each piece is assigned a role and the name and information of someone Pariston knows who is connected to the process to be carried out.

Once the preparations are complete, the user creates a path for each character, with their own at the center. With each action assigned to one of the pieces, they can see the probabilities of possible outcomes for that action.

Once the path is completed, if Pariston is satisfied with what they've seen, this entire path (and all those that occur in parallel and are related to their own) are recorded in their mind.

However, this ability has strict restrictions for its proper use:

- Each character involved must have a name, appearance, and a detailed description of their personality and abilities. If any of these become too ambiguous, the results of actions related to that character will become erratic and unpredictable for the route.

- The user can only plan routes up to 12 days in the future.

- The further into the future the characters are on their routes, the more erratic the percentages Pariston receives from consulting the actions will be.

- Any unforeseen action or action not considered during route creation will disrupt the route mentally planned by the user. And if an event forces a situation that drastically alters the route, it will be erased from Pariston's mind.

Edge of air

This is a simple Nen ability that encompasses multiple techniques, utilizing Transmutation as its primary category, alongside Enhancement and Emission.

This ability allows the user to shape their Nen to take on the properties of a saber blade. The user can modulate the blade's shape, sharpness, and size (with a maximum length of approximately 6 meters).

However, to activate it, the user must meet a specific set of conditions:

- They must identify the other party as an obstacle or a threat.

- Second, they must declare their hostile intentions to the enemy.

- Finally, they must position their hands to create the impression that they are carrying bladed weapons.

Once all three conditions are met, the user can shape their Nen into blades and manifest them from any part of their body.

However, as a self-imposed restriction, every time the user summons a blade, their *Ren* produces a spike-like effect; if another Nen user sees this, they can infer where the blade is about to emerge.

Sudden Meditation: This is a technique the user develops instinctively rather than through premeditation.

Once the user's mind enters a "flow state," this ability boosts their reflexes, speed of thought, and physical speed to superhuman levels.

However, this effect lasts only about five seconds; afterwards, the user loses the mental flow state and suffers physical and mental strain—the severity of which depends on the intensity of the actions performed during those five seconds of heightened power (ranging from taking out enemies in a hallway to unleashing rapid-fire attacks in a whirlwind of speed).

Empty Blade: Allows the user to apply *In* to the blades they summon, rendering their attacks invisible to the naked eye. This can only be applied to two blades at a time.

However, this ability comes with two restrictions:

First, the *Ren* spikes remain visible, making it possible to discern the weapon's location.

Second, as long as *In* is active, the user cannot alter the dimensions of the affected blade; they must deactivate *In* if they wish to shrink or enlarge the weapon.

Hatsu week: Enhancement - Reinforcement seals (Ghost mark & Power Within)

Ability name: Reinforcement seals (Ghost mark & Power Within)

Type nen: Enhancement + Emission + a little bit of Manipulation

Level: 3/5

Summary: The user, through a seal that can be projected, can amplify one or more capabilities of the affected object or person.

Effects: To activate this ability, the user must first meet these conditions:

- The user must carry an ancient seal (the kind made of wood used for wax). The user must use one they have made themselves (whether by crafting it, buying only the wooden part, etc.) and apply Shu to it to make it usable for the Nen ability.

- The user must have paint or another colored material to create the seal's design.

Once this is done, the user will have the ability to mark a person or object with the seal. Depending on the color of the mark left, the user can infuse their target with a specific type of enhancement.

This enhancement will always be proportional to the target's base abilities without the seal, but it can stack and overlap with other forms of enhancement the target receives. And if the user applies the seal upside down (since the seal, as part of its design, has an engraving of the sun rising over the horizon in its center), that is, with the sun facing downwards, it will apply the opposite effect to the object (weakening it).

Regarding colors, the current ones are: Dark Blue (Physical Resistance), Light Blue (Efficiency with Nen applied to Nen categories different from the affected person's original Nen type or techniques like Ren, Zetsu, En, etc.), Green (Biological Regeneration and Immunity), Red (Muscular Strength), Orange (Speed), Yellow (Stamina and Fatigue Recovery), Purple (Mental Speed and Reflexes), Fuchsia (Senses), Brown (Memory and Mental Resistance) and Cyan (Heat retention).

Beyond its conditions of use, the main restrictions are:

- The user can only apply a total of 10 seals at a time, and can only use 3 at a time on the same target.

- If you apply a fourth seal to a target, all other seals on that target will disappear, along with their effects.

- If the seal (the object, not the mark) is broken during the ability's use, not only will the ability be deactivated, but the user will also suffer from Zetsu until they obtain a new seal to repeat the activation conditions.

- Marks can remain active for up to 12 hours, but after that, they disappear from the target, and the target cannot receive new marks for another 12 hours.

Ghost mark: This technique allows the user to combine their seal with Emission to manifest a phantom seal (a Nen projection) near the target, applying the effects of the marks to the target.

However, it has several important activation conditions:

- The user must first have a map of the area around them (maximum scale 1 cm: 2 km).

- Once they have this, they must place Nen in the area of the map where they know their target is located and mark the placed Nen with a seal. This allows the user to send the projection to that location when activating the technique.

- Finally, the user must say the target's name, have a strong mental image of the target or a real image (photo or drawing) to use as a reference, and seal the selected area again. This way, if the target is in that area, the user will know, and their seal will manifest as a projection around the target to apply the mark. In case of failure, the attempt must be repeated (changing locations if the enemy has moved).

In addition, there are two other restrictions (to maintain the effectiveness of the seals regardless of distance):

- The user can only apply one mark to these distant targets, instead of the maximum of three.

- Marks applied in this way only last for two hours.

Power Within: This technique requires a new seal, which can only be painted black. When this seal is etched onto a person's skin, it renders them in a Zetsu state, draining most of their Nen, both residual and when attempting to use other techniques.

It can be maintained indefinitely, but once the seal is smeared with white paint, all the Nen accumulated within it is released as a physical enhancement (comparable to that of many Enhancement users) and astonishing Nen power (reaching levels comparable to post-mortem Nen).

The duration of this power boost varies; for non-Nen users, the boost lasts for one minute for every half hour of accumulation. For Nen users, this would be one minute per hour (due to their better control over the flow of Nen).

However, there is one major limitation to the technique: there is a time limit for the ability. Beyond this threshold, exposure to all that Nen begins to wear down the user's cells, causing a suffocating effect that burns them from within. For non-users, this time limit is five minutes, while for Nen users it is fifteen. If this threshold is exceeded and a certain point is reached (10 minutes for non-users and 25 for Nen users), the damage can leave lifelong consequences or even cause death.

There are only three ways to avoid this:

- Exhaust all the Nen as quickly as possible (although this is the most difficult to accomplish the longer you have spent accumulating Nen).

- Cut the section of skin where the seal is located, thus cutting off the flow of Nen.

- Wet the mark with cold water and rub it very hard. This will damage the mark enough after a minute of repeating the process to break it and cancel the ability (releasing the contained Nen as a harmless smoke that dissipates very quickly).

After this process, if a non-Nen user survives, they will see their Nen nodes awakened, granting them access to Nen.

Hatsu week: Transmuter - Coinshot (Steeleye & Ironleecher)

Ability name: Coinshot (Steeleye & Ironleecher)

Type nen: Transmuter + a little Emitter + a little Intensifier

Level: 4/5

Summary: It gives its aura magnetic properties and those of other metals, as well as allowing it to expand its reach and pass it on to others.

Effects: The prerequisite for activating this Hatsu is that the user wears a steel watch (either a pocket watch or a wristwatch) and activates its counter-clockwise mode. This allows the user to activate their power for 16 minutes.

This ability allows them to transmute their aura, giving it magnetic properties. Thanks to this, along with a small amount of energy emission, they can attract and repel any object with magnetic properties (made of steel, iron, nickel, etc.) within a 20-meter range. In turn, the user can transfer a small amount of their magnetic aura to an enemy or object for a few seconds upon striking them, causing the enemy to attract metal objects that can then strike them.

Also, thanks to magnetic repulsion, the user can push certain metal points to remain aloft in the air (reaching a maximum distance of approximately 20 meters).

Regarding its restrictions, these are:

- Usage time: the user is limited to a maximum of 16 minutes. After that, they will have to wait the same amount of time in Zetsu form plus an additional 32 minutes without access to Nen abilities or any of their techniques.

- The strength and speed with which an object can be attracted or repelled are related to the weight difference between the user and the object (if the object is heavier or attached to something heavier, the user will be attracted/repelled, and vice versa).

Increasing the amount of Nen used to push does not modify the effects of weight difference (no matter how much Nen you add to a push, if an object is still heavier, you will be the one moved), but rather acts as a multiplier of the speed at which the object/user is pushed/attracted when using the power.

-The user added a vow consisting of that, if the user is stabbed or has pieces of metal stuck into their body, this will amplify the power of their nen (being that the more mass the object stuck has (only the mass that passes through their body, not the one that protrudes), the more powerful the flow of nen received will be.

-The user's aura, when using their power, forms spikes in their Ren towards the manipulated object, which can allow anyone using Gyo to see the direction of such objects before they are within their field of vision.

Steeleye: This technique allows the user, when using Gyo, to perceive metallic objects in their environment that are susceptible to its magnetism.

These will be visible within their field of vision as small flashes of bluish light. If the user uses En in conjunction with Gyo, they can detect them or even focus their ability exclusively on the one they wish without affecting the others.

Its only restriction is that the user can only perceive the pieces if they are within their field of vision, while if they use En, they react to the user's nen, so that an enemy with Gyo can also see what objects they are (although in their case the flash is much weaker).

Ironleecher: This technique complements the main one and allows the user to imbue their aura with the properties of any metal.

However, to activate it, the user must touch a metallic object and apply shu to it. From that point on, their aura will analyze the metal in their hands and seek to replicate its best qualities.

The more time they dedicate to the process (infusing it with shu and analyzing it), the more knowledge they will gain about the metal and the better they will be able to choose which properties to incorporate and which to discard.

Hatsu Week: Emitter - The Blue Box (United Destinations)

This is my favorite Nen category, and honestly, this is another skill I created and passed a few weeks ago, but I feel like it's the perfect skill for me (and, honestly, the kind of skill I would wish I had if I were in the world of HxH).

Ability name: The Blue Box (United Destinations)

Type nen: Emitter with a little Manipulation and a dash of Conjuration

Level: 3/5

Summary: Conjure a blue telephone booth that allows you to pass into a pocket dimension, from which you can teleport to other places

Effects: The user can conjure a telephone booth called the Blue Box. When opened, it grants access to a small, pocket-sized dimension, similar to Knov's. This Nen space measures 15 x 15 x 4 meters in height and is completely empty except for a couple of walls that can be removed by the user to divide the room into smaller spaces, and a large table of levers and buttons in its center (surrounded by a pillar of glass and shiny metal).

Above the panel appears a console screen, displaying a 10 km map around the location where the Blue Box was summoned. This range is the space where the user can make the Blue Box disappear and reappear to travel between points (from the user's perspective, the jump is only a few seconds between disappearing at one point and materializing at the other). It should be noted that, within that 10 km distance, the user can only travel to points they have already visited or been to within that range.

Regarding its restrictions, it has a few:

- You cannot travel immediately after a jump; instead, there is a cooldown period between jumps where each second of waiting represents one meter of distance traveled (e.g., if you have jumped 1 km between one materialization and the next, the user must wait 1000 seconds (16 minutes and 40 seconds) for the next jump).

- Although the cabin is very resistant while materialized, its defenses are reduced during materialization and disappearance, and any strong Nen attack (whether with or without Nen ability) can damage it. If it suffers considerable damage, the cabin will become unusable, trapping everyone inside.

During this time, the user (and others affected by United Destinations) can continuously offer their Nen to repair the cabin. This can take, depending on the degree of damage, from half a day to three days in the worst cases.

- Within the pocket dimension, any Nen technique other than Ren or Gyo (such as Zetsu, Shu, etc.) is rendered useless, as is access to Nen abilities that require these for activation (such as some abilities that require Zetsu). This applies to everyone, including the user.

United Destinations: This complementary technique allows the user to grant traveler permissions to other people who enter the Blue Box.

These permissions essentially allow that person to approach the ship's controls, display their travel points (places they have previously visited within a 10 km radius), and grant them access to travel to those locations.

However, this technique comes with a condition:

- The person using this technique must pay half the cost of these trips with their Nen, with the user paying the other half. If the person using the technique is not a Nen user, the user will pay the entire cost of their trip.

Hatsu week: Conjuration - Copper&Mind (Shared Connection)

Apologies if this ability isn't new (since I created it myself and posted it on this subreddit a few weeks ago). It’s just that, for me, this would be the perfect ability if I were a conjurer.

Ability name: Copper&Mind (Shared Connection)

Type nen: Conjuration + a lot of Manipulation + a bit of Emission

Level: 3/5

Summary: Conjures a Nen beast that will act as a server to store information and memories.

Effects: The user conjures a bronze bracelet—named "Copper"—featuring the letters "CU" in relief at the wrist. With this bracelet and the command "Come, Mind," the user can summon Mind, a dark green and purple Nen beast (resembling the Pokémon Dragapult, though smaller and with a thicker head).

Once summoned, the user can transfer memories and information from their mind to the Nen beast (expending Nen to do so and paying an additional cost to the beast). You can also request to extract that information and return it to your brain, or ask the Nen beast to answer your questions based on the memories and information contained within it.

Regarding the information it holds, the beast classifies it into four security levels: Level 0, comprising basic information on common concepts or general fields (including questions anyone encountering Mind could ask without needing to have Copper with them); Level 1, involving more complex concepts—such as the mechanics behind certain physical or astrophysical phenomena—as an extension of the information found in Level 0; Level 2, covering far more complex or highly sensitive topics (such as the manufacture of specific weapons, details about sensitive or secret locations, etc.); and Level 3, which encompasses the user's own memories and experiences.

Regarding its restrictions, the following apply:

- It is impossible to summon Mind without having Copper (a restriction imposed by the user for anyone who might copy the *Hatsu* or capture the Nen beast without understanding how it truly works).

- Due to Nen consumption and information overload, the user must place the Nen beast in a maintenance state for one hour at a time, during which it is constantly fed Nen (it does not consume a large amount, but enough to make the user consider whether to do it on a day of low consumption or wait until morning).

Shared Connection: This is a complementary technique of Copper&Mind that allows the user to voluntarily grant others the ability to summon their own Copper to access Mind and the information contained within it.

For this to happen, applicants must complete a questionnaire set by the user and transmitted by Copper to the Nen beast. This questionnaire involves adding the applicant's personal information (name, nationality, measurements, etc.) to the database; doing so grants access only to Level 1 information and the ability to summon Copper by consuming their own Nen.

If an applicant wishes to access higher levels, they must complete additional questionnaires for each one. Each subsequent level requires increasingly significant personal information (Level 2 might ask how their Nen ability works, among other things, while Level 3 might require information linked to their direct past).

Regarding restrictions, there are several:

- The user cannot modify any information other than what they themselves have entered (the user merely provides the support and the ability).

- The Nen consumed by the applicant is proportional to the duration Copper remains summoned and the distance from the user.

- As part of their philosophy, the user decreed that any personal information entered that is not at Level 3 (where memories and experiences reside) is classified as Level 0 and is accessible to anyone.

- Only the user can initiate Shared Connection with others (meaning those who have received Copper cannot pass it on to others).

- If the information provided in the questionnaires proves false, the beast will immediately access the offender's mind to verify the facts. If a violation is confirmed, all information submitted by the offender will be updated with the true data found in their mind, and their ability to summon Copper will be permanently revoked.

Hatsu week: Manipulation - Weather Caller (Vessel of Nature)

Ability name: Weather Caller (Vessel of Nature)

Nen type: Manipulation + High Emission + a little bit of Conjuration(for the vessel's technique)

Level: 4/5

Summary: Conjures a nen beast that generates an environmental phenomenon and allows the user to control it.

Effects: First and foremost, to activate their primary Nen ability, the user must meet four prerequisites:

- The user must know the weather forecast for their current location on that day.

- The user must have direct or indirect contact with the outside environment (their power is ineffective in rooms completely isolated from the outside or underground, beyond their range).

- The user must carry a book on climatology (any book on the subject will do, but the more detailed the information, the better it will serve their ability).

- The user must have with them, or be able to access, an urn, box, ceramic dish or any item that acts as a sturdy container/altar with a certain ceremonial air.

Once all these conditions are met, the user must pour their Nen into the container, along with one or more pages from the book (specifically from the section relating to the phenomenon they wish to summon), and then burn them together, while saying the words, "Oh, Mother Nature, hear my plea to (insert natural phenomenon to be summoned)," and then explain in detail how said phenomenon works in relation to Nen.

This ritual, if others willingly agree, they can participate by offering objects that they culturally or personally associate with the phenomenon to be summoned, or through their own rituals (such as a ceremonial dance linked to said phenomenon). These elements nourish and empower the Nen beast to be summoned.

The result of this ritual is a Nen beast with a cartoonish appearance of said phenomenon (such as a cloud, a tornado, a mini-sun, etc.). These beasts are conjured only with Emission, so they cannot be seen by non-users, but they can feel their effect on the weather.

Nen beasts, utilizing the user's mastery of Emission, will follow their commands and cause the desired phenomenon within the user's range. Meanwhile, the user will be able to control the components of that phenomenon (for example, if the Nen beast is rain-based, it will attract nearby moisture to generate small rain clouds, while the user will be able to control the density of the clouds and the direction of the falling drops).

The ability's restrictions are:

- The user cannot generate any phenomenon they haven't personally encountered in their life (for example, if someone has never traveled to an arid or desert region, they will never have experienced a sandstorm and therefore will never be able to summon one).

- The ability's range of effect is proportional to the amount of Nen offered in the ritual and the likelihood of the phenomenon occurring in the user's location (with a maximum amount of Nen offered by the user (approximately 1/3 of their total) and by summoning weather conditions with a high probability of occurrence (such as rain in a humid environment with wind and mild temperatures), the ability's maximum range would be up to 50 meters).

- Nen beasts cannot generate the natural phenomenon themselves; instead, they attract it by manipulating the conditions that produce it (such as humidity, pressure, and specific temperatures in the case of events like rain). Therefore, Nen beasts cannot cause any event that is not plausible in that environment (such as a tornado in a high-altitude or cold-climate area), nor can they summon weather phenomena that require immense conditions (such as typhoons or hurricanes).

- Once the Nen beast disappears, the user loses access to manipulating that weather event until the next day they are exposed to it (e.g., if their Nen beast associated with the tornado has vanished, they must encounter another tornado to summon that Nen beast again in the future).

Vessel of nature: This technique involves the user conjuring a small metal vial containing a crystal and an energy gauge. With this, the user can capture their Nen beast inside and store it.

This state of confinement freezes the Nen beast's remaining lifespan, allowing the user not only to contain it for the future but also to transfer Nen energy to it, nourishing it over time and gradually restoring its energy and lifespan back to 3 hours.

The limitations of this technique are that the user must constantly maintain their Ren (as this, along with Shu, are the means of supplying Nen to the vial). If the user enters Zetsu, the vial will attempt to preserve itself by draining the Nen of the beast within, shortening its remaining lifespan.

Even if the Nen beast reaches 3 hours of life, the user will need to continue supplying energy to the flask so that it doesn't drain from the Nen beast, because if the beast's Nen reaches 0, not only will it be lost but the flask will also be lost (rendering the technique useless for the next 24 hours).

Hatsu Week: Specialist - Game system (Gaming Embargo)

I'm going to participate in Hatsu Week with a skill I'd love to have if I were a Specialist.

Ability name: Game System (Gaming Embargo)

Nen type: Specialist with a touch of Conjuration.

Level: 2-4/5 (depending on the situation)

Summary: Allows you to analyze and convert other people's Hatsu games into video games. If you succeed, you can copy them freely.

Effects: To begin, the activation requirements are:

  1. Explain the principle of my ability to another Nen user.
  2. Summon the console to be used (depending on whether I want it to be a handheld or a traditional console).
  3. Request that the Nen user infuse some of their Nen (in the form of a Hatsu, as with the water glass test) into the console.

Once that's done, the person's Nen ability will be saved as a video game (the genre of which will be based on the user's preferences, and its difficulty will depend on the complexity of the ability).

The user will have to completely complete the game (achieving all the main objectives within the game) to transform their Nen ability into a video game cartridge that will remain usable for up to one year.

After that year, the user has another year to replay the game (which can be updated immediately to new versions if the original user has evolved their Hatsu, added new techniques to their repertoire, or if the original user has died). If they complete it again, they can have the game for another year, while if they fail to do so, the game will be lost, and they will have to repeat the application process if they want to recover it.

As for its use, the user must conjure a small device (similar in shape to the PS Vita but smaller than their hand) and insert the cartridge corresponding to the desired Hatsu. From there, the user must use Shu on the device to charge it and press the start button to begin using the contained Hatsu.

The main limitations of Hatsu are the time it takes to complete games (since each game has a relatively short playtime, and the more complex Hatsus lead to the more difficult ones), the need to keep Shu active on the device to maintain the Hatsu, and the fact that only one Hatsu can be used at a time (in addition to the need to renew the game license annually).

Gaming Embargo: This technique, more than a way of using Hatsu, is a more dangerous variant of Hatsu activation procedures. In this mode, the user is able to create cartridges of their enemies' Hatsu.

However, to carry it out, they must meet two conditions: explain their original Hatsu (the process of completing the games, etc.) and expose themselves to enemy attacks. Each attack, by imbuing it with Nen, will be equivalent to requesting some Nen from the other.

But the restriction of this mode is that the user's Ren can interfere with the collection, so they must choose between receiving several hits from which they slowly gain some Nen or reducing their Ren to receive a more powerful blow from which they can take more Nen from the enemy. And just like with the games, complex Hatsu require more received Nen to be analyzed and converted into video games.

Therefore, this is the riskiest and most enemy-focused alternative.

Golden Strike

This Nen ability is simple and primarily utilizes Enhancement, along with Emission for certain elements.

The power it grants allows the user, upon activation, to see how the Golden Ratio fits into the objects and living beings they focus their gaze upon.

Once manifested, the user has the ability to intensify their strike to an extreme degree (to the point where it behaves as if the attack were imbued with Ko) if their attack lands precisely in the center of the spiral.

It is also known that the user employs Emission to fire their Nen like a bullet if they cannot land contact attacks, by forming the shape of a gun with their fingers. In these cases, the attack under this hatsu will behave the same as a normal strike if it hits the center of the spiral.

If the user applies Ko to their attack while using their Hatsu, the resulting strike to the center will be slightly greater than normal strikes (making the strike essentially equivalent to 2.5 Ko).

On the other hand, the user placed a vow on their Hatsu and two important restrictions:

- The vow stipulated that, while the user is using this Hatsu, their own body would also be imbued with the power of the Golden Strike (only enemies cannot see the golden ratio). Therefore, if the user were to take damage to the center of the spiral, they would suffer the same damage increase that they apply when landing strikes.

- The first and most important restriction is that the further the user moves from the center of the spiral, the weaker their strike becomes (it doesn't become useless, but striking the edges would cause their Hatsu to hit with half its original power).

- The second restriction is applied when using Ko, and that is that when the user applies it to their strike, the damage is increased if they hit in the center, but if they move away from it, the damage is reduced much more than expected (the strike would do only 1/8 of the damage it would do if they did not have their hatsu activated).

Six spheres of destruction

https://preview.redd.it/dkn39bqwjegh1.png?width=199&format=png&auto=webp&s=a4b46a0999cc7782c1edaed3db35826ddc2c239e

This Hatsu is a simple technique that primarily employs Manipulation with some Emission and Enhancement.

It allows the user to assign six metal spheres they carry, of which the user can control three at a time (both their movement and other aspects, such as their rotation speed, direction, and even altering their spin to deflect them or make them perform aerial maneuvers that shouldn't normally be possible).

In turn, the user can enhance them through Enhancement to improve the damage they inflict or their resistance. They can also use Emission to control their range (approximately 50 meters) and to create links between spheres (allowing two different spheres to share abilities) or with the user.

Finally, the user has created four different types of spheres, each focused on a specific ability, using the Nen categories they have mastered to enhance them:

- Base Sphere: It is green and uses Emission to generate Nen pulses that react with nearby living beings and Nen beasts, like sonar.

- Rubbing Sphere: It is a red sphere with a rough texture. Its main function is to use Enhancement and Manipulation to boost its spin and friction with objects it touches, reducing rock and concrete to dust that can be fired or dissipated into the environment as smoke screens.

- Ionic Sphere: It is yellow with a furry coating (like a tennis ball). Its function is to use spin to accumulate static electricity from the environment and then control it with Manipulation to manipulate electronic objects or paralyze enemies (it can be further enhanced with Enhancement).

- Reforming Sphere: It is blue and has a slightly more oval shape. This sphere uses Enhancement to strengthen itself and Manipulation to modify elements of the environment (e.g., touching a rope and, with Manipulation, removing the rope towards the user).

Regarding restrictions, the user imposed a few:

- The user must first assign a sphere with their Hatsu in order to manipulate it later. For this assignment to take place, they must touch the sphere, apply Shu to it, and say the command "Your rotation is mine." If this assignment is not applied, the sphere cannot be affected by the user's manipulation.

- The user can only have 6 spheres assigned, although in practice they can control 3 at a time. If they wish to remove the assignment from one, they must hold it and say the command "Return to me." This frees up a space in the assignments, and the Nen accumulated in that sphere returns to the user.

- This is the most important restriction: the user must be the one who creates the spheres. Not through conjuration or emission, but rather by creating them manually (or at least being directly involved in most of their creation process).

The spheres made by the user are the only ones the user can manipulate. If they take another's sphere and try to use it with their Nen, the sphere will return to the user and apply its spin speed and force upon them.

For this reason, the user designed their spheres by hand and usually carries an assortment of them, as well as avoiding enemies who possess Hatsus that can destroy them.
