[music] Hyperpop

I made a post a while ago about hyperpop and I still wanna know what you think about it. This kind of music is called hyperpop/cyberpop/experimental. Do you like it or not? I almost get frisson when I listen to cyberpop songs, but some people say it’s annoying. Do you like it?

I had been thinking for a while about making wine with my own hands (or feet lol), but it’s honestly a lot of work. It takes time, patience, and energy — and lately I haven’t had much of that. I had been feeling melancholic and low-energy for a few days (but I’m okay now).

This morning, while preparing my usual coffee offering, an idea suddenly came to me. I wanted to offer something different besides spiced coffee, and then I remembered: tea exists. From that moment, a more interesting idea started to form.

I only offer things I make myself, and since I’m not fully financially independent yet (my main “work” right now is college), I don’t like the idea of using my mom’s money to buy offerings for my deities. It’s money from her work, and I feel that I need to do the work myself.

But lately, what I’ve loved offering the most is food — especially drinks, always made with my own hands.

So today the idea of using a bottle of vodka I had stored away, together with mashed raisins, came to me. At first I tried to think of a full recipe, but nothing came. Then I went to the kitchen and thought: I’ll figure out the rest later — let me at least make the base. I knew that if I thought too much, I might end up not doing it.

Here is the recipe

Base

Vodka

Raisins

A glass or plastic container (glass is safer, since strong alcohol can extract compounds from plastic but I didn't had one)

Optional additions

Any herb, root, flower, spice, extract, or even spiritually purified non-toxic crystals.

I added:

Hibiscus (flower and extract)

Cinnamon (powder, because sticks take longer to release their oils)

Black cocoa powder

If you have the time and energy, turn it into a ceremonial moment. Light candles near the jar, consecrate the liquid, purify the container — whatever feels meaningful to you.

If you’re low on energy or know you won’t do it if it becomes complicated, simply make it with whatever you have, both in ingredients and in mood. Simple is perfectly valid.

Don’t forget to mash the raisins into a paste — this releases much more aroma than leaving them whole.

If you already have a bottle of wine, you can infuse it with red roses (clean them whether they’re store-bought or from the garden). Hibiscus also works beautifully. Depending on the amount of wine, you can add one or more cinnamon sticks and a bit of crushed black pepper, or even fresh chili. If using fresh chili, open it and remove most of the seeds and the white membrane. If using black peppercorns, remember they’re hard — crush them or give them plenty of time to infuse.

Do not use essential oils. They are extremely strong, and the only one generally considered safe for consumption is lavender — and even then, this is still relatively new territory and we don’t fully know the possible side effects.

In any case, you don’t need essential oils. The plant itself is more than enough.

That's all.

Remember that consistency doesn’t mean doing something every single day without mistakes or without ever missing a day.

Consistency means coming back to it, even if some time has passed without doing anything. Consistency is also continuing your practices even when you make mistakes or feel afraid of making them. It’s being able to recognize the mistake and commit to improving.
