Risked bringing my X-T30 II + Viltrox 28mm pancake to a The Weeknd concert (RAW + Lightroom)

Right before going through security, I saw a girl in front of me getting turned away and forced to check in her tiny compact digital camera. My heart sank, but I decided to take the risk anyway.

I buried my X-T30 II with the Viltrox 28mm pancake at the very bottom of my small bag, completely covering it with my wallet, documents, and headphones. Security glanced inside, didn't notice a thing, and let me right through!

All shots were taken in RAW and processed in Lightroom.

I love how compact this setup is for stealth mode, but I’m currently thinking about taking a step up. I'm torn between upgrading within the system to the Fujifilm X-H2 or switching over to full-frame with the Sony A7C II.

Has anyone made a similar jump? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Back with my second concert shoot! This time it was a tiny, packed venue with terrible lighting and a crazy crowd. Most people were smiling and letting me through when they saw my camera raised, though a few strictly refused to budge (totally understand and respect that).

The Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 is an absolute beast for capturing the scale and the crazy stage lights, while the 85mm f/1.8 helped me hunt for those raw, tight emotional moments from a distance.

Also, a crazy thing happened after my last post. Pixie Bella (IG: pixpop) - whose legendary Bring Me The Horizon concert shots literally inspired my entire editing style - found my profile. She followed me, praised my work, and reminded me of my own talent. It felt completely surreal.

Still learning and loving every second. Would love to hear your thoughts, any support or feedback means a lot!

This was honestly one of the best nights of my life. I saw that this indie rock band was coming to my city and decided to just reach out to them. To my surprise, they actually replied and put me on the guest list!

I showed up with my camera and gave it my all. I’d love to hear your thoughts, critiques, or any advice for a beginner - just don't be indifferent!

I’d truly appreciate your support over on my Instagram: iamnonameboy
