scotland april and may layering advice solicited

I’m travelling to Scotland in April–May. Please suggest a practical layering system for top and bottom wear suitable for Scotland’s cool, windy and rainy weather.

Please cover:

  • Base layer: recommended materials and brands.
  • Mid layer: fleece/sweater/light down jacket options and brands.
  • Outer layer: waterproof, windproof jacket specifications and brands.
  • Bottom wear: trousers, thermal leggings, trekking trousers and waterproof trousers—when each is needed.
  • Brands: suggest good budget, mid-range and premium options (e.g., Uniqlo, Decathlon, Columbia, The North Face, Patagonia, M&S, Regatta, Mountain Warehouse).
  • ANY OTHER TIPS

Please clearly identify what is essential vs optional for April and May.

need opinion on 1 more day trip from inverness ..is it worth ?

need opinion

I am planning scotland tour in april 2027.

Once I will be inverness, I will be doing couple of day tours covering Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness , Dores, Fort Augustus, Falls of Foyers, Eilean Donan Castle, Portree, Quiraing, Old Man of Storr

, Skye Bridge & Eilean Ban.

I can do 1 more day tour covering Achmelvich Bay, North Coast 500, Ardvreck Castle, Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve, Lochinver, Assynt Mountains. I am nature lover and enjoy scenic places.

Want to know if this NC 500 tour would be worth or it will be more or less similar landscapes not worth of 1 more day trip?

p.s. I will be also doing couple of days trips from Edibunrgh covering places like loch lomond, sterling castle, Gelnfinnan , Glencoe etc

CLOUD SYNC MSG. PL HELP

I am getting this msg since yesterday evening. If I Skip all, game runs smooth, Is it ok If I ignore this and so avoid any risk and continue the game. did not see any cloud sync setting in rockstar account settings. Please help [I have played 2-3 hrs after date and time stamp shown in msg above]

I am a guy who generally avoids side quests . Does this game eventually require side quests to complete main story or progressing this game without side quests makes you less quipped with gadgets / tools which make side quests essential? Can some one pl guide ? Also is this game grindy ? Thanks in advance.

If I Leak oil barrel with Screwdriver and throw Glycerine ,, getting only Target eliminated [no one sees me whil throwing] sometimes loses SA and on copule of occassions it does not ..LOCATION COLARADO [near garadge]
