I’m a pharmacy tech and so ever since I did the stuff online I have not done anything except pick up. Now my colleagues have done both they’ve done pick up and production. However, my boss refuses to have me leave the register.. I have talked to my district manager and she says that I can learn stuff online through the modules and that’s it. I told that I’ve never miss shadowed and so I’m not done anything aside the pick up and so she sent me well. The pharmacy probably needs that I said, yes, I’m sure but you don’t rotate me out and she says she’ll try and talk to them but in the end, it’s my bosses decision. That being said, I’m going to talk to him resource tomorrow. Tell them that I want to be transferred out of my District. Clearly they don’t care about me. They only only me to be a pick up. Meanwhile, three other people has been hired and day to both now. I’m the only one who has never left the pick up.

I’m a tech and I feel everyone hates doing pick up. Is this true? And why? What position is better? Or what is the worst position in the pharmacy?

So this past Monday, I was scheduled to work from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM however I came early at 8 AM and asked the pharmacist in charge who is not from my store and I asked her if she wanted me to come in early and so she told me yes and they worked then the pharmacist that she comes in comes in at 10 a.m. and she asked me if I can work more and I said yeah now she gave me the paper and now she put in that I work from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM then I worked on Wednesday and I told my boss because she’s actually working that day and I told her she said OK then later that day the other pharmacist that normally comes she came there and I told the situation she said OK now they ended up putting me working from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Monday originally it was 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM but they changed it now. I promise that they still have not changed it. I already talked to both the doctors. Should I talk to HR?

I just don’t want to keep on getting my keys.

Why does an entitled patient come here
In the last 5 minutes and here I am I am trying to cater for the patient in this line and this guy is so entitled where he will not touch the screen and I remind him that he’s going to have to when he is going to sign so he’s going to have to touch the screen at some point and he says no because there’s so many germs and all and I said well in that case then you must please go to the drop off and tell them that you want your medicine to get it delivered to you since you’re so delicate. And he says he might take that offer but still he just wants to pick up his mess in the last five minutes to get his medicine. Meanwhile, there’s another patient behind him. And then he went to the drop off to talk to my boss and the guy next to him that came by and he said hey man, “I’m with you because that dude is such a pain and that I’m sorry that you have to go through this”

Once he left, my boss said whatever.

I had to work another pharmacy for training and today I’m scheduled to work from noon to four and so at 1:30. The pharmacy closes for a half an hour for the break now I’m wondering can I still work in that half hour or do I have to go on a break?
