Need help to update forza horizon 6 as I have already progressed till blue wristband, updating from elamigos overwrote everything and have to start again. In future if I update will I have to start from beginning again. Can I have m progress saved both online and offline. Need help
For anyone who maybe still don't know how to transfer the save files from the leaked version to the rune version, Here's what you should do:
Open the rune version of the game and play just the tutorial to create the save file location for the rune version
Go to C:\XboxGames\GameSave\pgs\u_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_000000\current
You should find a folder called ContainersRoot (This your save folder for the leaked version)
Copy this folder (ContainersRoot)
Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\MicrosoftStore\RUNE\Forza Horizon 6 [00000000]\1337133713371337\SaveGames (This is the save location for the rune version)
Now you should find a folder called ContainersRoot, Delete it then replace with / paste the one that you copied from the leaked version location (Step number 4)
Go to C:\XboxGames\GameSave\pgs\u_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_00000, Then copy just only the numbers that you find (The ones that i replaced with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx only)
Go to your game's main folder (The rune version), Then find the file called ms_emu.json
Open this file (ms_emu.json) using notepad
You should be able to find this line "XUID": 1337133713371337,
Replace the 1337133713371337 with the number that you just copied in step number 7 (The xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), Then save the file
Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\MicrosoftStore\RUNE\Forza Horizon 6 [00000000], Then replace the file number (1337133713371337) with the same number that you just pasted in step number 10 too
Open the game and your save files should load successfully now

Edit: After playing for a while, I noticed that i bought some cars while was playing the leaked version, But the thumbnails of these cars don't show up at all for some reason in the rune version now, And so, If you bought some cars in the leaked version then you will maybe face the same issue with their thumbnails in the rune version, Just wanted to let you know
