Considering EM as a career

Working with my daughter to decide what career she’s interested in. She’s always been a critical thinker, a planner and is very intelligent. She’s graduating HS this year and is very sure EM interests her more than other field. What are her chances of landing a job with a certification vs a degree? Is this field being threatened by AI? And suggestions on which direction to research for jobs (healthcare vs federal etc)? Are there weather/natural disaster positions?

Healthcare careers?

Looking for any suggestions as my daughter and I look into healthcare jobs for her. Ideally the job would require less than 2 years of training and offer a quieter environment for her to work in. She gets overwhelmed in loud situations so a clinic job would be ideal for her. I worked in an ED for years so I was thinking x ray tech might be an option in a stand alone location but I’m not sure if it’s a requirement to work in a hospital for a certain amount of time. Appreciate any ideas!

HRT and migraines with aura

I’ve been told that I can’t have HRT for years and I recently switched doctors and was told there is new data out that suggests a low dose of transdermal HRT is fine. Wondering if anyone else has experience with this? Any thoughts on how to create as many safety guards (to lower stroke risk) as possible when taking it? This community has so much experience I’m hoping to get a list of ideas to speak to my provider about. Thanks!
