Enzo Fernández - Selling Rodri only makes sense if the replacement math makes sense too
The Enzo-to-City story is already peak transfer window because even the bid itself is disputed.
One report says City have put €120m on the table. The latest UK reporting says Chelsea still havent received a formal offer and want £120m if anything is going to happen.
The football logic is easy enough: if Rodri leaves, City need another elite midfielder and Enzo fits a lot of what the new setup wants.
The money is where it gets weird.
If you sell Rodri for roughly €70m-ish and then have to pay £120m for the replacement, the domino suddenly gets very expensive.
Would you still do it if Chelsea refuse to move from their valuation?
