3 months on tretinoin 0.025% cream and my skin looks worse
i got off birth control last thanksgiving which was mainly used to shadow my acne until i was finished with puberty, (currently 19 F). My acne had started coming back when i started college even on bc so i just decided to get off it and let my hormones do its thing and sort itself out. it did not. i only really break out all over my forehead but it was just between my eyebrows and the middle of my forehead before tret. when i went on tret it spread all over my forehead, i have so much texture and new closed comedones that pop up every week that replace the ones i had just gotten rid of in that area. im at an all time low and dont know what to do. i think my skin barrier is broken so im just now only doing basic oil-free cleanser and oil-free moisturizer, (i have oily and somewhat sensitive skin).

natrium azelaic acid derivative complex 10%
clinique dramatically different moisturizing cream(just switched to gel)
neutrogena collagen bank spf moisturizer
PM:
CeraVe acne control cleanser
tretinoin cream 0.025% (was doing this every night from working up from 2-3 nights a week)
clinique dramatically different moisturizing cream
the first two pictures were before tretinoin, the next three were the day i stopped all actives, and the last are a few days of the cleanse
