This drug is insane (day 3)

CW: 160, GW: 135, H: 5'5, Age/Gender: 30, F

I just want to say this medication is absolutely insane. I struggled with my weight so much for the past 4 years. I stopped feeling comfortable wearing certain clothes, and ended up in an endless cycle of dieting, binge eating, craving sugar intensely, and just feeling like I could never stick with anything.

This medication is crazy. I'm honestly blown way day 3. I personally didn't experience any side effects. I just noticed that endless urge to snack and eat sugar is down. Food still tastes good, but I'm able to listen to my body and stop eating once I'm full. I'm more focused and have better energy levels.

I'm like is this how normal people feel?

Just wanted to share!

Sad about how my friend is describing her cat now after baby

My friend, who I also work with, was venting to me today about her cat and how she's thinking about rehoming her after having the baby. Before having the baby, the cat was her whole world. But she said she feels overwhelmed and can't keep up.

I know having a baby is incredibly challenging, but the thought of becoming emotionally unavailable to my innocent pets is so heartbreaking for me and is turning me off having a baby.

Very curious how peoples bonds with their pets changed after baby?

Anybody here with just high DHEAS?

I was diagnosed with idiopathic hyperandrogenism. My only symptom is high DHEAS. I've had all the tests, CT scan, ultrasound to rule out everything else. The high dheas is causing issues like hair loss and body hair.

I'm curious if anyone else has this, and have you had any success in lowering dheas?

How did your body change after pregnancy and childbirth?

For those of you who had kids, I'm very curious how your body changed. As someone who has always had body image issues and a history of eating disorders, this is a huge fear of mine.

My coworker loves being a mom, but she was telling me how she no longer feels beautiful. She has deep stretch marks, a soft belly, and no longer wears fitted clothes anymore. She also has a lot of joint pain.

I'm curious if this is preventable? Is there any way to preserve your body after pregnancy?

Has anyone had a child because their partner wanted one?

I'm curious if there are any people here who were leaning more on the childfree side but later decided to have a kid because their partner wanted one. How did that go for you?

Did anybody have a baby here and sort of regret it?

A lot of the posts I read here are from fence sitters that got off the fence, had their baby, and really learned to love being a parent despite the challenges.

But I don't see as many posts about people that had kids and regret it? Or wishing they made a different choice and just stayed childfree?

Very curious if any of those people are here?

I'm curious if it was like a feeling? A sustained dream? A shift in priorities?

I think a lot of us here go back and forth a lot. I just turned 30, and I feel unsure.

I have a mini poodle who is very athletic, and a bit anxiois/neurotic? Lol! I've heard standard poodles tend to be calmer and more confident? But not sure if this is other peoples experiences?

I'm 30 and leaning childfree. I'm extremely introverted and dislike high stimulation environments. I get overwhelmed by loud noises easily and usually need a few hours to recover after socializing. I work in Healthcare and love my job, but I usually need a lot of time to recover after I get home.

I guess what I'm saying is, rest is really essential to my wellbeing (sleep, making time to eat well, exercise, walk my dog multiple times a day).

I just want to know if there's any similar people out there?
