Today (October 1st) is the last day of business nationwide.

The RideOn buses are free. Great. But they are terrible. The 46 runs every 30 minutes weekends in the evening - it’s not even that late in the day! And doesn’t stick to the schedule. When this bus comes it’s fast, but it’s just so useless with it arriving too early or always being late. Nobody wants to use this service unless they have to. I wish WMATA ran these services because Montgomery County clearly isn’t up for it.

I’m happy about the early dismissal but who saw RFK Jrs. email about “getting outdoors”. Seriously!? With an extreme heat warning across three days? Hope he heeds his own advice…
