I went to a win hoff seminar a few years ago and it’s been a great practice, i usually do three rounds.

How does wim hoff compare to holotropic ?

Hello everyone.

Can you please share how you would go about conducting research if you where a short term trader holding positions from a few hours to a few days ( at most a month )?

I don’t mean totally fundamentally like Warren buffet style..

For example, I might look at what stocks have the most volume that particular morning in the pre market and any headlines / news associated
with the company.

I may look at recent SEC filings.

Of course the amount of info out there is so vast , learning to cut through the noise and learn the relevant facts is a challenge in itself.
From a low level perspective what would you look at ?

Is anyone familiar with VGM, the video game market research company?

If so can you share any info about the company or how similar market research companies work?

Do they have sales people?

I don’t know what I don’t know so I’m not sure exactly what to ask

My friend works at an equities trading firm. I applied , he got them to read my resume and I got a call with one of the hiring people. Call lasted 35 minutes. I think it went well enough but basically ended with person saying he will pass his notes along to the next person bc it is a group decision.

Invited me to email him so the any questions.

Didn’t give a timeline for “next steps”.

That was on Monday.

I sent a short / polite thank you email Tuesday morning.

It is now Thursday morning. Can barely sleep, this is my dream job and it is way what you kill and that is ok with me. I would chop off my pinky toe for this.

Can anyone share similar stories or feedback?
