First ev experience Vancouver

Decided to rent an ev to see what this is all about. Got at Tesla 3 in Vancouver from hertz.

The speed on these things should be illegal lol

I enjoyed:
the fact that there’s no emissions out my rear
The steer assist
The braking off gas pedal
Trying an alien case experience
the Star Wars gun reloading sounds on lock

I disliked
The insurance rates
The the charging fees. Context: 16$ Tesla charger for half a battery while I understand 4 $ at home overnight is a thing for a full battery.
The lack of chargers
The bubbling sounds coming from the batteries
Inability to use my phone to auto lock and unlock
The entire idea of locking and unlocking things only through the front screen
The seating position
lack of Apple car play?

I discovered new things about evs
I’m sure there’s lots I haven’t figured out

The only way I’d ever own an ev is with a home charger. Ironically I put one in last week but don’t have an ev.

Responsibility is heavy

I’m highly preppy and responsibility weights very heavy on my chest.

About to be a dad how do you guys let things roll off your shoulder and not over worry about everything. Mortgage house finance job security duty to wife and family kids etc etc

Any tips? I see some people just worry less but it’s not my personality
