I got my first Neos about 4 days ago. 14 orange sunskit. 3 berried, one saddled, 2 babies and 8 males or small ones. I drip acclimated them for one hour, then put them in. They are in a 20g with 3 otttos. Yesterday I found this berried female here dead, and I think that's a failed moult. Why did that happen? Is there a way to prevent this?

I dont know what my water parameters are, but ik that the temp stays from 23-24 c and the pH is 7.0. This tank has been up for 14 months, with the Ottos in for 7-8 months. There are many algae and biofilm on the plants, but ik ive been doing my water changes the exact same way for a year, and the last time I did a water change was about 2 weeks ago. I dont have a water tester, they are 40 bucks, and I'm still young a dont have any income, and can't afford to lose these shrimp. Please help me and tell me what to do. Thanks

I bought my tank from a guy on Kijiji about a year ago, and it came with a light that was not original with the tank. And right now, I was cleaning a calcium stain off of it and was re-gluing the custom bracket. And I left the light on the floor, and then I was called to help, and I stepped on the light, and it shattered. There's a plastic half circle with a groove to slide the *LED plate. I would just scrap the plastic circle thing and just glue the strip to the top of the lid, but I'm worried about humidity and water damage, bc its was in an air-tight before. I was wondering what light to get and what to do. I have a few plants and many fish, and I don't want my plants to die, but I have a lot of algae on the plants. how i get off? Please help me if you know. TY!

Guys, I bought a thick-lipped gouaraim from my local Pet Land, mislabeled as a honeygourami. And it turned so white over the last 2-3 weeks. Its sides are so fat and white, and it can barrel swim pls help bc im a newbie 😞
