Help with Meh Dai

After 15 mins of wiggling and soothing this is how we ended up but i know it’s not safe given how covered is face is.

Looking from some insight on how this happened and how to prevent the shoulder straps from riding up like this but also…how do I start with him settled into this position given this is how he’s comfortable?

Hope that makes sense… Open to any other feedback as well.

Also I know I can do a fit check with Hope and Plum but wanted to get some immediate input from the community.

Toddler causing overstimulated baby ?

2.5y/o and 3 month old here. We’ve had really difficult weekends with our 3 month old - showing hunger cues but not wanting to eat, crying, overtired etc - and I realized this only happens on the weekends…when my toddler is home from daycare.

During the week baby and I chill pretty hard. The house is quiet - we nap, eat, play, repeat based on his needs. He has pretty high day time sleep needs and that’s fine by me.

Weekends are noisy, busy, active, etc. and impossible to go sit in a sark, quiet nursery to calm and overstimulated baby for an hour.

Makes me feel guilty that he doesn’t get what he needs on the weekends but also…we have a toddler and weekends are our time together as a family.

Would love to hear from others. Not necessarily looking for advice - I know I can try more carrier naps and that this is all temporary - but I’d love to just hear from other parents who are managing this dynamic and feel some solidarity 🙂

Carrier similar to ring sling?

I know finding the right carrier is a personal and different journey for everyone but wondering if anyone found a carrier their baby (and they) liked that had a similar feel to a ring sling?

A front carry (don’t know the correct term but just mean not hip carry) ring sling is the only baby wearing that my baby finds comfortable but im looking for a more secure carrier option and overwhelmed by the options.
