I have now been laid off three times since March of 2025. This industry has never been as enjoyable as i thought it would be. Management is toxic as hell. Unrealistic standards with little to no training. Terrible communication between teams and management and i am completely done. I feel like i don’t even want to look for another job in this field and want to focus more on myself and working in yoga and pilates. Luckily im trained for both. I’m so discouraged since i went to school for this but i just cannot do it anymore.

Hi guys just needed to rant here! I graduated back in 2020 and i’ve yet to work a job in this field that gives actual training. Yeah there’s SOPs but i’ve noticed that they’re kind of redundant since every study seems to be “different.” I’ve always been thrown into the shit and maybe sometimes trained by another employee that’s already overworked and hardly has the time to teach me and i feel bad. Then I get told i’m not performing well all while not actually getting feedback from anyone. It’s been super frustrating and was wondering if others in this field have experienced the same?

How’s Duke recovering from all the budget cuts from last year? Is Duke still struggling and cutting employees or are they settling out?

Been a while since i’ve been on this thread. Are things getting better? Are they staying the same? Have they gotten worse…?

Anyone else think there’s too many mexican restaurants popping up? i want more variety but everything seems to be a ”new concept” mexican restaurant. signed, a mexican just wanting some korean bbq.

I used to have amazon prime and i’m trying to sign back up but i only see amazon prime access?? I don’t want that since i don’t qualify but can’t get to just the normal prime membership sign up????
