Pre PTCE
I take my exam on 8/24 and just took the Pre PTCE tonight. I got 9 answers wrong out of the 90. From anyones experience does that seem like I’ll probably pass the actual exam? Any advice is appreciated, I’m so stressed. Thank you!!

Hey everyone, I'm taking the PTCE on the 24th. What kind of questions do you think I should expect? I know every exam is different, but what are some questions that you guys got that might be there? Has anyone had any questions about the books like red book, orange book etc. ? I am mostly nervous for math and interactions. I've been seeing a lot of posts about people getting pregnancy interaction questions and I honestly have not studied any of that at all. I've been using the PTCB practice bank, and I have all over 90% in all the categories. Are those questions actually similar to what's on the exam? Any advice is appreciated!!
Hi everyone.
I took my NHA certification exam in 2021 and passed on the first try. I work in a hospital network and management is pushing for me to get certified through PTCB so I can be more standardized with the network. I honestly don’t even remember what was on my NHA exam. I feel decently confident in my knowledge except some math and drug classifications. I’ve been taking practice exams and using the PTCB power bank that I purchased but I feel like I’ve more so been memorizing the questions from seeing them repeatedly instead of memorizing the actual material. I know each exam is different but does anyone have any tips from what they remember from their exams? I’d appreciate any information anyone is willing to share! Thanks!
Hi everyone.
I got my NHA certification in 2021 through a course at my local community college. I've recently gotten 2 additional certifications through NPTA for sterile compounding and hazardous sterile compounding because I hope to be transferring into an oncology tech role this fall. My manager is telling me these certifications aren't valid in our network and the network only accepts PTCB certs. But I literally do not even have that to begin with, I have one though NHA. Has anyone heard of this issue before? I panicked and scheduled a PTCE for the end of August... I just feel lost and so confused. Any PTCE tips would be great as well! Thanks!
Hey everyone. Do any techs have experience with the National Pharmacy Technician Association (NPTA) courses? I bought a dual package to get the sterile compounding and hazardous compounding cert. I was almost 90% finished with the sterile compounding course (work) and now when I try logging in it says no account exists. Has anyone else had these issues? I thought it seemed credible but maybe I was wrong. I paid over $700 for the courses and now I can't access anything. I emailed support and they just say they're having technical issues.
